Adopt them yourself, ask if your freinds/family/neighbours want an adorable, lightly-diseased kitten, drop them at an animal shelter- fuck, give it to your local homeless guy or Chinese take-out; literally anything is better than leaving them with Chris, where he'll just keep miIking this car crash til its way past infuriating, and he'll probably never get the fucking cats fixed, anyway.
I don't think Chris realizes how easily transmittable conjunctivitis is; I'm not sure if feline-human transmission is as common as human-human but if it is he's putting himself at more health risks that he can't afford. Though knowing Chris he'll think it's a sign that his third eye is opening so he can dimensionally merge or whatever.
Why would he adopt the cats when he can't afford medicine? This isn't him. The cats had no choice, and were just adopted, damnit. This isn't fair to the cats, now they could die as kittens just because of chris.

That didn't take very fucking long, did it? It's funny how every time I think Chris has managed to hit absolute rock bottom, he somehow manages to dig a bit deeper.
Everybody, my new family of kitties is Very Sick. They all have conjunctivitis and need Immediate Medical Attention; I CANNOT pay for this on my own! I am scared they will NOT SURVIVE until the merger! Please open your hearts and help these poor babies and their mother!
This is particularly gross. He's countering arguments to give them to a shelter because they're "his new family." He's establishing urgency by stating the need for "immediate medical attention" and that he's afraid they won't survive to the end of the year. And he's framing it as helping the poor, innocent animals, totally not as giving him money for toys. It's all fucked. Also, did he take the mother into the house too?

I still wouldn't say that this constitutes animal abuse. He's exploiting them for personal monetary gain, but at this point in time, it's not abuse. Either way, he should take the cats to the Madison-Greene Humane Society, I don't trust that he can properly care for them in the long term.
