What I wanted to focus on was how he always got non-answers when he asked adults, like MtF, who just say they "feel right" that way. But what fascinated me were the FtM responses. He asked about three or so, and they all said that they didn't like sitting down to urinate or that they didn't have a bulge when wearing tight clothing. When asked to elaborate, they simply just repeated themselves.
These people don't understand what it means to be a man or a woman. Women aren't just dresses, makeup, and bras; and men aren't defined by their ability to aim their urine. Both are sculpted by their psychology, physiology, and experiences which shaped them on their way to adulthood since utero. You can't hope to replicate any of that with a simple cosmetic surgery. But to these people, their understanding of the opposite sex is surface level, limited only to their own brief experiences and simplistic observations of them.
