Being fair, he's a goddess (in training) of Commodore. That wouldn't mean he'd know about obscure Nintendo consoles, he'd need to ask a goddess of Nintendo like Megan that sort of thing.

My fav. part is how he calls himself the goddess of Commodore or some shit yet still hasn't fixed the "video issue" on the crusty C64 he owns. Didn't he buy a new one? Or a new cable? Anyway, I'm kinda torn between finding this really sad and hilarious. It's obvious Chris mental state is declining and despite Null and the Capns best efforts, it's only going downhill.

TL;DR: Hypderdimension Neptunia is a franchise parodying the video game industry with anthropomorphized characters who stand in for actual consoles and game series.
Chris, like he does everything, took it too seriously and has made it part of his autistic alternate reality like he did Pokemon and Sonic.

I feel like if this isn't another idea guy, this is the culmination of a building series of disappointment and tragedy for Chris. He's in his mid-30's having achieved literally nothing (sure he made money off Sonichu in the end but a major franchise it is not), he knows his mom is not long for this world, he's stuck begging for fucking toys because he can't get a job even if he wanted one at this point, Crystal Weston Chandler will never exist, he's had to marry imaginary hedgehogs because he couldn't attract a mate of either sex, he lost both of the cats he loved dearly within days of each other, he's getting repeatedly sued for debts...
...and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is ending and as such Bronycon's last event will be next year. Everything Chris holds near and dear to his heart is being taken from him and he can't do a fucking thing about it.
Which is why I'm leaning toward a new idea guy promising a shitload of cash for Chris to dance around - no different than Chris running over his PS3 for 9001 dollars years ago. Chris has two extremes he alternates between: his delusional state where he believes this Neptunia nonsense, and his "give me money" state when he wants to buy shit. The sad thing is that Chris is willing to do the former 'artificially' given he legit believes this shit when people offer to pay him to do it.
