Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

Threatening an official of the United States is a federal felony. You can lose your right to vote over something like that.

If I were the type to become a dictator--and I'm not--I'd have a number of people posing as anti-me crazies, encouraging those who would never vote for me to make these sort of illegal threats, and then round them all up and disenfranchise them quite legally. If I wanted to be an even more evil dictator, I'd use that to springboard into criminal investigations of their patrons, my opponents.

Y'know, just sayin'.

“He’ll NEVER leave office, he’s going to become a dictator at the end of all this we swear!” -they say, without the slightest bit of self-awareness of when they scoffed at their opponents for (also foolishly) claiming Obama was going to do the same thing.

And they all said that Bush was going to the do the same thing, back when he was American Hitler.

The only difference with Obama was that prominent leftist figures actually were loudly and publicly urging for him to refuse to leave office. There were "news" stories about how he should declare a state of emergency due to the RUSHIN INTERFERENCE and stay in office until Trump was locked up. There was the stuff about how if there were a terrorist attack right before Trump was sworn in Obama could probably stay in office, basically urging someone to set off a bomb in DC. That was early days for TDS and it was already pretty intense.

Anyhoo, as to the increasingly strident NPCs, I wonder if this is a result of the realization of the blue wave's stillbirth trickling down to them? That they've started to pick up the cues the media's putting out that they need to brace for Republican victories, and that's why the sudden uptick in reeeeeing.

I love how this bullshit is framed as an act of "justice".

Here's how it works: You (or your proxy) have suffered some unspecified harm due to your identity, which is therefore undeserved and unjust. Therefore, you are entitled to justice, often in a reparative since. Since the harm suffered is constant and omnipresent (q.v. microaggressions), the amount of justice you are entitled to is effectively limitless. Since you're on the side of justice, anyone who disagrees must therefore be arguing against justice, therefore they are evil.

This sounds like a dumb question, and maybe it is (and would probably be more fitting to ask in the midterm election thread), but I'm curious about how popular/widespread early voting is. Ballotpedia says these are the states that allow early voting (so you can just get the ballot mailed to your house--at least I think all of these listed states do that).

So it's possible folks who aren't going to go out and vote live in states not listed here (yeah I know anyone can choose to just stay home and not vote, but it's probably more common in states where you have to go to the polls in person). But if they do live in either one of those above states, and if they're really and truly invested in politics and have a desire to vote, then why don't they register for the early ballot if they haven't? Is it possible these folks just don't know you can do that, or is it a special kind of laziness where they procrastinate registering for early voting?
For one, there's a lot of people who like to wait to see if anything comes out before election day. Personally, I enjoy voting on election day. Feels like a civic holiday and I'm sentimental like that.

I love how every time someone insults a mainstream media reporter/journalist, it's an attack on freedom of the press.

Never mind that these faggots regularly call for purges of "fake news" (in this context, alternative media).

Never mind that criticizing a work is not denying its creator's freedoms.

It's always a desperate attempt by these failed propagandists to feel special and needed.

An NPC tweet also made it onto sombody's local news (Gif) Don't know what area, sorry.

~3 Days ago it was reported that Trump had upgraded to an 18,000 people stadium for a Houston rally, yesterday it was mentioned that 70,000 people had signed up.

I wonder where they was when the DNC rigged the primaries to favour Hillary instead of Bernie? That meme posted on Reddit should give them some "Reeeee". ;) https://www.reddit.com/r/MemeEconom...est_in_berniepatrick_stewart_star_trek_memes/

A very dangerous mindset, especially if one of them is depraved enough to actually try to get that "justice".

Good thing the majority of those morons are total pussies that wouldn't dare doing that shit without anonymity.
