Now that I've seen the rest of the interview, I definitely feel that LWu is using the momentum of GG to bring attention to her own cause, and what she wants doesn't even oppose what GG wants. LWu is upset that news outlets haven't talked about the harassment, gamers following GG are upset that news outlets are shitting on them.
I believe - correct me if I'm wrong - that she started off as critical of GG. That is not a crime, but it pissed off people, and (this can't be said without victim-blaming) she got stung because she kicked the hornet's nest that is the internet. Now she's using her booboo to gather attention to herself and the women who were "harassed out of the industry."
Regarding LWu's satire account, btw: joke or not, she added to the shit that painted the movement as misogynistic.
