I've got a hammer too, mine's called the "Fuck off or die, ideally both implement". Working title. Flashlight, pens and notebooks just because, and some clothes. Pretty average stuff.

After watching countless horror movies since childhood I've come to believe that I am super vulnerable to intruders and other shit in my sleep. Keeping something handy in the very off chance that something actually attacks me in my sleep just puts my mind at ease. My reason for keeping a weapon in my room is borne completely from my own delusional fears, but for most people it's pretty rational to have something ready for self defense in your room.
