This is federal court, so he had 90 days from when he filed to serve tay-tay, otherwise the court should usually dismiss. My guess is that whenever the judge gets around to this motion, the motion for default judgment will be denied and the court will proactively dismiss the case for failure to state a claim. Or rather, whenever the judge's/court's law clerk gets around to it...the judge probably isn't going to read the documents personally. For the legal Kiwis, now that he has submitted that and people who actually know the law have responded, how long generally until its thrown out?
It could be done in one page. Maybe two if you count attaching the affidavit of the process server. To be fair though, before granting a motion for default judgment, federal courts will still usually look to make sure that the complaint is legally sufficient, particularly with a pro se so if you're advancing a novel theory or something like that you might include some argument, but we're talking maybe three or four pages max, nothing like this.Just a question for the legal Kiwis. Leaving aside Russ being Russ and the fact that the case has no merit at all, how long would be reasonable for a document for a similar case?
I havent been keeping up with Russ for a while. Now he's suing Tay-Tay?
He's going through female celebrities like tissues, except none of the celebrities know he exist.
And even if they did, they sure wouldnt want to date him.
Never change Russel
In fact, that is the very incident that most Russtorians believe sparked his pursuits of AGT and Taylor Swift. Russ’ sister lives in West Hollywood and works in the entertainment industry. Russ’ celebrity pursuits are expressly for the purpose of reconnecting with his sister.
he has the bizarre fantasy the legal system, if manipulated the right way, will force people to do as he wants
Yuck. Look at how dirty his sleeve cuffs are.

Even if Greer could sue NULL, the site owner doesn't have the monetary value to compensate for the harms Greer has suffered.
I wonder how many people are following Russell’s shenanigans. A lot of people lurk without posting and between us and Reddit, this guy has to have a huge audience all laughing at his “brilliant misunderstood mind.”
Yes, it’s easy to think “poor Russ” if you just look at the surface and think he’s just messed up because of his birth family. In reality, it’s nothing to do with his feelings of betrayal or abandonment. He feels entitled to their attention and time. He can’t stand the idea that they chose not to communicate with him, so he wants to spite them. He thinks if he gets famous they’ll come crawling back and he can gloat about how great he is and how they missed out. Same with Taylor Swift. I have no doubt that he’s played out this exact fantasy in his deformed, tightening head 1,000 times.See this almost makes me feel sorry for ol’ Russ. Almost. Until you remember all the stuff he has said and done and figure he probably wants to spite her, rather than reconnect with her. It’s more about getting one up over his birth family. The ironic thing is he’s only hurting himself and his adoptive family, the poor souls who took him in and gave him a decent start in life.
Remembering also that Russ actually threatened to sue his sister unless she agreed to communicate with him and have a relationship with him.I read this again and it’s even better the second time. It’s so densely embedded with layer upon layer of pure medical-grade delusion that it’s like an autistic lasagna. Delicious.
I’m going to have this thing printed and bound and leave it on my coffee table.
All I can think about is how this reads to the person who’s never encountered Russ. The people who had this fall in their laps on a Friday afternoon. The judge’s clerk(s), the associates at both the served law firm and the responding law firm — to see their faces as they read this, after expecting the standard / vanilla procedural motion for default judgment, instead provisioned with an unhinged manifesto documenting in detail every perceived slight against the world’s most fragile boy and how it is all the legal liability of a pop starlet who failed to disclaim “WARNING: TAYLOR SWIFT IS NOT SUBTLY INVITING YOU TO “WOO” HER WITH SHITTY GIFTS AND IS NOT LEGALLY OBLIGED TO ACCEPT SUCH SHITTY GIFTS OR RESPOND POSITIVELY TO ROMANTIC ADVANCES FROM DIMWITTED AND UNEMPLOYED HOBBITS”
I also want to note, one of his claims, which he has never alleged prior, is that Taylor is responsible for his fractured relationship with his birth family.
In actuality, his birth family cut communications before the Taylor Swift fiasco — back when he was only suing small fry hookers and reality TV starlets. He reached out to his mother and sister, and even met his mother in person, but his repeated advancements — specifically to his sister — were so invasive and troubling (to borrow a quote from Skordas) that his sister and rest of his birth family ceased all communication.
