I think it has potential for a lot of Twitter sperging and maybe a NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW style of video. He's not going to do anything IRL, and I don't think he's going to "assault" anyone beyond calling them a troll on Twitter.

I could see him bugging some poor Hasbro employee who couldn't do anything about it if they wanted to at a convention, or making a very awkward speech, but I don't think we will ever see anything like the macing again.
(Doing some background research on this, apparently the same leak says they're replacing the character's voice actors? Given how much he tweets them I'm surprised he hasn't mentioned that.)

I wouldn't hope for an assault charge, but this, I think, might be a bigger deal to him than blarms. This pony crap is really important to him. It's his religion. So I can see a serious existential crisis coming along if he doesn't take to the new show.

I can also see him shitting himself and doing nothing. While covered in new toys. So who knows. That's the great thing about following Chris, things can swing either way all the time.

Pegasi have wings, unicorns have horns, and earth ponies are super strong. A pony can occasionally be so super special at what they like to do that the universe sees fit to let them evolve into an Alicorn, who has the abilities of all 3 races, is automatically a princess, and is just suuper special you guys! It's part of why it's hilarious that Chris's OC is an alicorn, his fictional self-inserts always have to be the best of the best and have no flaws.
