Well now he definitely won't do runescape since everyone pretty much put up a bat signal in the sky that this will result in trolling.

It's 3 AM, so I can't cherry pick relevant info. Discussion starts near the top.
 
I preface this post with "I don't like DSP" and I expect some major disagreements with my opinion, but some people are being hypocrites. I realized I can't have it both ways and laugh at his transgressions and then chide him for trying. Phil is without a doubt a hypocrite, a liar, a cheat, and a pig and deserves the jeers he gets. I can point and laugh at his delusional sense of self worth, and pick out all the times he's double backed on his word. I can easily hate his crass nature and lord over him his failures. But after that I cant also crucify him for trying to do the very things I make fun of him for not doing before. Saying "you need to edit your videos stupid" and then when he does (granted years later) say "I thought you don't edit videos stupid" is a double standard no one can defend against. Damned if you do or don't. Phil will always deny and lie his way out of taking blame but let's see what happens when he starts to actively listen and try. Could be a disaster that resets in a week or it could be a whole new spinoff. Let the imp work his magic.

The issue is with how dishonest he is and how he does mental gymnastics to justify his dumb decisions (look at his excuses for not direct capturing for instance) and how defensive he gets over criticism, not with him doing something different per say. If he would just come out and say "Unedited content wasn't working out for me" or "I didn't do edited content before because I didn't think I'd get enough of a return to justify the increased effort" he'd be getting much less flak.

One of his main problems is that everytime he makes a statement, it is allways an absolute one.

"This will NEVER happen", then when it happens and people call him out on it he throws a bitchfit; "NOT EVERYTHING IS BLACK OR WHITE DOOD".

He'd do well to adopt corporate non-answer PR lingo, ie "I have no plans to do sponsored streams at this time".

I'd even forgive him if he just said "this will NEVER happen" and left it there. However, what Phil does is say "this will NEVER happen because everyone who does [thing] is a STOOPID kiddy entertainer/shill/moron/usually some combination of all three and I'll never do it because I'm the realest motherfucker". And then when called out on it later he'll lie and say he never said those things. He just can't stop himself from being an overly-aggressive, toxic prick about everything. Phil is Mr Double Standard, so it's not surprising that people treat him the same way.
 
Some people don't think this will be WoW 2.0 (the best footage of him in a video game I've seen and the Lets Endure of it was amazing too) and to a degree, I'll agree. You still have to get matched with him vs Runescape where you can just follow him around if youre on the same server. Small problem with Runescape, you cant kill him because you know he will never go to the wildy. He will do some wood cutting, kill some cows and maybe, MAYBE make it to Varrock. Perhaps he will do the chefs quest.

WoT though, if you bypass the matchmaking, you can stream snipe and friendly fire him for a full hour and he can't react because he is on the clock. Thats the ticking time bomb. He puts it all at risk if he explodes. And given the autism of this site, its surely to cross over into the autism of WoT.

Reminder to catch it as a restream and not through him (to keep numbers super low)
 
I could potentially see a Wings like scenario happen where detractors message Phil’s WoT team mates on steam and tell them to team kill Phil.

Don't go into Freedom Chat unless they're showing a restream of Phil's stream. It will give Phil views unless they're all watching Tevin or Jackie, etc restreaming it, FYI.
