I approve of this new "I'm trying to make an effort" saga, and hope to see it continue. It's good he finally infused what he loved (Sonichu) with a means to make money. DeviantArtists have been doing it for years.

Could not agree more. Now all we need to see is the real Chris again and not some coached by trolls/girlfriends/boyfriends/whatever. IMHO he was funniest when the Comics were coming out. Especially some of the earlier ones.

Personally I would just like to feel he (alone or with Barb's help) is capable of getting his affairs in order for when he winds up alone after Barb passes on.

Is it sad that we are all acting somewhat proud of this guy? *sigh*

I have to admit, I thought the well would have run dry long ago, seems I underestimated people's desire for true and honest cwc memorabilia.

yesterday we got a mature post regarding the failure of his kickstarter followed by an extremely immature passive aggressive ebay sale post followed by a bat shit insane post where he inserted his own agenda into a britney spears women's health article. i see we're starting off today with some mature update mixed with e-begging.

EDIT: a couple hours after, we got tard rage over sonic's arms and him accepting an invite to come out.

It's like reading the menu of an experimental restaurant.

So you know how when the comics were coming out, people told him that he would never, ever make any money off Sonichu...?

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I think Chris has finally got a job after more than a decade! At least I'll call it a job as long as he's consistent and gets orders done in a timely manner. Something worth celebrating, I suppose.

Still, we'll have to see how the next wave of sales goes. One step closer to having a full-on Sonichu store with possibly new comics...

I think he means 1/6 of the price of two medallions. I think. I hope.

Clarifying the ham-fisted wording of his facebook post...

Fatty dijo:
And I will now offer a Two-For-One Special through the B&W Listing; Free Medal with Purchase of a B&W Commission, and y'all may request a Medallion in lieu of a Commission Drawing. That is like buying Two Medallions for 1 2/3 of the total price.

Basically he is using the B+W listing to sell two medallions for $50, discounted from the $60 it would normally cost to buy two through the medallion listing.

Fatty dijo:
As it states on the listings: $50 for B&W

One medallion in lieu of the drawing as he puts it, one 'free'. The full price for a medallion being $30, multiplied by one and two thirds is $50. He just kinda accidentally the sentence I think and it's a rather clumsy way of offering a discount but there we are.

Última edición:
Dude he hasn't shipped my medallion yet

Disappointed but not surprised, I wanna wear that shit

Oddly, this actually makes me sad about not having gotten a medallion yet. I had myself basically convinced to get one, and now I hope they will actually come back. I don't need two. (Heck, I don't need one.)

Better take advantage of this deal now, folks. When he moves back into his house, those medallions are going to be coated in the filth that comes from living in a burnt, rotting husk.

@skyraider91 has confirmed that the rental house is already ridiculously hoarded. So no matter what customers are going to get medallions that may have been exposed to DIRTY, CRAPPED everything.

Maybe chris will realize people want Sonichu the electric hedgehog pokemon and not lego, hopefully we'll get a brand new issue of sonichu.

Damn, six grand? No more kick the autistic with money like that rolling in. I wonder if he realizes that his customers are a finite resource.

I think it's more along the lines of you can't have listings that in total add up to $6,000. The medallions at a quantity of 100 took up a $3,000 slice of that allotment at $30 each. Even if he only sells 1 medallion eBay is still "expecting" him to sell all 100. Combine that with the pricey commissions he is also selling (as well as a boatload of autographed pictures) and the remaining half of that limit is eaten up pretty quickly.
