At least 14 people have been injured, two of them seriously, in a suspected knife attack on a bus in Germany.
The rampage took place in the northern German city of Luebeck on a bus that was on its way to the coastal city of Travemunde.
A suspect, understood to be Iranian and in his 30s, has been arrested after police swooped on the area.
Police spokesman Duerk Duerbrook said the attack took place in the Kuecknitz district of Luebeck. Authorities were still trying to determine the circumstances of the attack.
According to local reports, witnesses say the bus was packed with passengers when a man dropped a 'smouldering backpack' and started attacking people.

The driver is said to have hit the brakes and opened the doors so people could escape.
A police patrol car happened to be nearby, according to reports, and the suspect was arrested.
Eyewitness Lothar H., 87, said the attacker pulled out a kitchen knife sparking chaos on the bus.
He told ln-online: 'Passengers jumped out of the bus and screamed, it was terrible, and then the injured were taken away.'
Another described scenes of 'carnage' when a victim who had just offered his seat to an elderly woman was then stabbed in the chest.
Local reports also suggest the man may have had a gun, but did not fire the weapon.
