You Know What Grinds My Gears? - Things that personally piss you off

People attempting to argue and debate with me to change my opinion on a piece of media. No matter what you say, you're not going to convince me that Frozen is a good (or even mediocre) movie, that My Little Pony has adult appeal, that Fire Emblem was always cancerous weeb shit, or that almost everything from this decade has sucked nasty balls.

people that say every single thing is violating someone's free speech or first amendment. whenever someone gets removed from a tv show or some network. or people on YouTube. I am so sick of every YouTuber talking about the first amendment and knowing nothing about it.

Every time I've ever brought food home from a restaurant, expecting to have it for breakfast, only to wake up the next day to my mom saying, "Oh, I ate it/I gave it to the dogs!"

People abusing the term "fair use". Fair use only applies when you use small clips, not huge chunks.
WTFU was destined to fail, because using 98% of footage of the movie you're recapping (NOT reviewing, FFS) is not fair use.
And longplays technically do NOT fall under fair use, since you're intending on showing the entire game; most companies just don't really do anything about it because of a combination of free publicity/interactive element not present in movies and tv shows. So technically, Nintendo has every right to stop monetization of let's plays (which people like Angry Joe only care about because it makes it harder for them to make money off of being lazy uncreative.)

I could not be more pissed off right now:) thought i'd share it with you all.

The worst thing to me at the moment is being ID'd for something that you are clearly old enough to buy. This has happened before, when i've tried to buy horror movies that are rated a 15 or some stupid shit back when I was 16 or 17. Visible piercings. No, I'm not under 15. Schools in that area don't let you have piercings. I've clearly left school by now. Screw off.

The bigger issue is after the shops in my country are restricting energy drinks- that's not the issue; but getting asked for my ID to buy fucking Mountain Dew because for some reason that's restricted, is the issue. I'm clearly 18 at the very least. You usually assume someone with visible tattoos is 18. Nope. I left my wallet behind in the car because "surely I don't need ID for something that's not an energy drink by most people's standards. Of course not." Asked for proof of ID (because to purchase something that you need to be 16 to buy, you need to look 25... Makes sense)
I'm not arguing with their policy exactly, however what I am arguing about is the fact that there's no way I look too fucking young to buy a goddamn Mountain Dew, which is barely an energy drink for a start. I'm 19, but thanks for insulting me, girl working at my local supermarket.
Seriously- ID'd for fucking mtn dew. People are dense.

Customers who haggle.

Like, jesus christ almighty, I am so sorry our prices are too high for you, that you've already spent 9/10's of your paycheck on shit you don't need and now you can't afford our special offers. Or are you actually just saying that you deserve to pay less because you're "you" and that every shop should bend over backwards to kiss your ass and charge you less then everyone else. Or are you saying our stuff is shit and it's not worth the price tag.
Fuck off, you don't like our prices, find someplace else that does them better. And when you can't and you come back, remember to bring some manners. Fuck

Oh god yes this. Or when someone says something offensive, and other people call them out on it, and they (or their supports) scream that person's First Amendment rights are being violated. That's not how it works.

Where I live it's Middle Eastern people who always do this. They'll haggle and rant about the prices IN LINE so we all have to hear it while we're waiting. Asian people get mad about coupons and try to use them every time.

Around here, it's mostly old people who do that, old white people at that. The store I used to work in had a sign up that said "All prices are fixed. No negotiations".

90% of the time it's them. The remaining 10% it's snooty old women with fancy names like "lamonte" or something that think they can get away with it when they're clearly well off enough to afford it without the discount

I once witnessed a Middle Eastern woman in line harassing a poor cashier because the suitcase was too expensive. Even though there was nothing the cashier could do about it because you can't change the prices. She held up the line too. Priorities, right?

People that get pets that they have absolutely no idea how to take care of and let the poor little animal suffer because of it. This lady that lives a little ways away from my home is infamous for blowing loads of money on expensive pets just to show off how much money she has and to try and look like she's some compassionate animal lover, but they always end up dying horrible deaths because she's too fucking lazy and dense to learn how to care for them. Way back when I was a kid she bought a horse, this big white stallion, he was a majestic motherfucker and as a boy I thought it was super rad that I lived right near a horse that looked like it came out of some cool fantasy movie. What wasn't rad however was watching this poor horse slowly go from Being big and healthy to an emanciated, flea-infested walking corpse. Then one day I looked outside and the horse wasn't on it's usual spot on the mountain and I never saw it again after that. Turns out the poor thing finally gave out and instead of actually taking care of its body they drug it up into the woods and tried to hide it in a ditch. After that she's been in trouble with the law countless times for animal neglect and cruelty but she always shows up with a new high maintenance pet about a week after her old one dies. Now she's got yet another horse and it's one of the little midget ones that stay small their whole lives. She's only had it a less than half a month and the poor little guy already looks like death.

I just can't stand seeing something suffer like that, especially when it's a pet that's meant to be loved and nurtured but it ends up living a short miserable life because some dumbass thought they looked cool.

People who don't know how the Constitution works, and make statements based on their ignorance. Like people who say criticizing the President is treason (it's not, it's not illegal at all), or the people who after the 2016 election demanded Obama nullify the results and call a new election. It doesn't work like that at all.

WTF. Those poor animals. I thought Animal Control usually takes away abused animals.

Animal control in my area is notoriously incompetent. They usually won't do shit about any situation they're called for unless it gets media attention, and then they're all over it like stink on shit while fighting like hell to save their public image. I'm sure people have called but chances are they're not doing anything about it any time soon.

Tomato sauce in Tupperware dishes is a pain in the ass to clean out completely. Same with anything really greasy in it. Have to run that shit in the dishwasher or with extremely hot water and lots of soap to get it out.

Similarly, when people don’t scrape their plates or don’t rinse out their glasses when they’re done with them. That shit literally takes five seconds, if that, to do, yet makes doing the dishes that much easier to do via dishwasher or sink.
