So, we all know Tyce can barely spell anything, but he seems to be able to read the pledge at the end of his trial just fine. Just something that struck me as odd.
Jace took that thing pretty seriously. If I had to guess he made Tyce remember it partly.

Not to mention now his brain is fucked up from so many different things.

I still don't understand how these guys know each other. Did Jace use to live in Springfield? Or did Tyce use to live in North Brookfield? Did he go to the "troubled teen boys" school there?

High School supposedly. They live in the same town and Jace was in school for 6 full years so he'd have met Tyce in his last attempt.

I thought Tyce lives in Springfield? That's 40 minutes away from North Brookfield. Or did they both go to the troubled teens school that's in North Brookfield (private school for boys only)?

Sorry if this is overspergy; I'm newish to the epic Deagle adventures and am just trying to put the pieces together.

I'm actually not that sure. They hang out all the time so I never really questioned it. Didn't know he was in Springfield.

They didn't go to the troubled teens school though. Tyce pushed a Sped girl down a wheelchair in school because she wouldn't have sex with him. Gentlemen, welcome to Deagle Nation :story:

Is that even a thing that schools do?

In urban areas (like where they live), there are schools for the kids who are impossible to mainstream (the autistics who don't talk and rock and clap all day when they're not walking around in circles, ppl with cerebral palsy, and the exceptional individuals who whip is out and whack off at inappropriate times), but Jace and Tyce are just stupid and probably just needed more time to take tests and get extra tutoring so I highly doubt that.

Don't forget that Tyce and Jace met in special ed classes. It wouldn't surprise me if their school district consolidated all of their special ed students into a single school

North Brookfield and Springfield aren't in the same school district. They're not near each other; it's a 45-minute drive from Springfield (city of 150,000) to North Brookfield (rural town of 4,500).

Jace was probably their for being insane and I honestly think tyce might be legitimately retarded. I'd bet they both went to a "special" school that was just a catchall for the damaged.

There were four high schools in the district I went to. Two were regular schools, and then one, the ALC (Alternative Learning Center), was where you got sent if you had some kind of behavioral issue. But you could also request to go there. (My friend did this because she was lazy and didn't want to go to real school.) Everybody knew about the ALC. But there was also a fourth school that nobody really mentioned, and I don't know what you had to do to get sent there. Probably it was a sped thing, though. So it's possible. I would guess you had to be genuinely disabled, though, because unlike the ALC I don't think you could decide on your own to transfer. Maybe Jace and Tyce went to their district's equivalent of the ALC, though.

Okay, I was curious so I looked at the websites for both North Brookfield and Springfield's school districts. North Brookfield seems like a really small town: either its high school and middle school share a website, or they're seriously just merged together into one school. I can't tell. They don't seem to have anything like a sped / behavioral issues school. Buuuuut, there's a school in Springfield that sounds like somewhere Jace and Tyce might have gone. Is it possible one or both of them went there? (I would say maybe they both live in North Brookfield and got sent there after being expelled from their own district, but the fact that it's a 45-minute drive mostly nixes that.)
