just so you know this guy is a serial killer

The drawings are so blobby and Adachi is a girl? Also, pedophilia.

Romanticizing a serial killer?..this is pretty standard for radical fangirls, but still this is fucking Adachi. The same guy who's responsible for a near-death of a 6 year-old girl and 2 deaths of other women. One was a highschooler and another was a young reporter. Really sexy guys!

Also.."fictosexual stargender" needs to be a banner or something. What the hell is that word salad?

The Steven Universe fanbase is pretty much at the center of the hive, so I think gross-looking fanart is unfortunately the norm for it. Although, the one with Pink Diamond and Rose would be a good idea if only the facial features weren’t like that.

I really don't understand people who need to change the skin color to be darker. Is it a sign insecurity? :powerlevel: I don't have super dark skin (I'm pretty medium) but I don't know why people generally accept this?:powerlevel:

I'm pretty sure it's mostly white people who do this, and they feel the need to brown/blackwash characters because they feel guilty for 1) being white 2) not drawing dark-skinned people before.

For most of these people, it's an overdone gesture in attempt to prove they are Absolutely Not A Racist. Whether they're actually successful with that is another thing.

That's...a pretty fucking good point. I never thought about it that way, but in places around the world (including some parts in the USA I would debate) there is this stigma of having super dark skin. I wonder if this is just unintentional or actual racism? Maybe these artist see their inherent flaws subconscious and use their "woke"- ness to cover it up? Just a thought.

But yeah, those implications...that's pretty bad.
I've also seen them over-compensate with really dark skin that it comes in a shade the really doesn't exist, looks muddy or ashy.

I fucking can't with tbe neck. It's like Adachi is pulling Yu's chin up and stretching it like taffy.

?

no you silly goose, adachi is a trans man in this pic uwu don't you see how obviously trans he is? just look at that huge ass and obvious breasts! truly, he must be quite dysphoric about his body! (also yu is supposed to be genderfluid here. just the worst.)

I love how in an attempt to look progressive they made pedophile serial killer fetish art. Yu is like 16-17 and Adachi is an adult with a clear power dynamic over this kid. Gross.

There may be some exceptions, but it's always white people who do this from what I've come to learn. They're very self-loathing, too. It's doubly hilarious because I keep wondering how they'd react to the black Bart Simpson clothing from the 90s. That was 1) a blatant parody done by black Americans and 2) actually treated as a separate character. It was a self-aware bootleg parody and not some attempt at a 'fix' or 'muh representation.' Even the show parodied it.

These are things that white SJWs do to 1-up each other. And as we've pointed out, they're so focused on getting those points in so much that they can't even take time to learn how to color dark skin or render features outside of racist caricatures correctly. I find it hysterical and patronizing.

s.... s-stargender???? is gender just determined by your personality now? if you like tomatoes you get to label yourself accordingly??

how could you call yourself gay if you haven't lovingly enveloped your partner in a pride flag before you fuck

So not SJW art per se (I would hesitate to even call it art) but I've seen a lot of Tumblr artists express this or similar sentiments, and dear god this sort of thing just reeks of entitlement:

What's the point when 99% of fanfiction is garbage?

The best part is when you see people make/reblog comics like that, but then turn around and make/reblog a list of criticisms you're not allowed to write in your comments or even flat-out claim they "ban" criticism on their shitty fanfic.
