yuuuuuup!! It doesn’t make sense outside of a fundamentally racist framework. All the villains from Plegia have dark skin (except gangrel? maybe? i can’t get a read on him bc dumb) and all the heroes (Tharja, Henry, Robin) are lily white. Perhaps it’s meant to be a racially diverse region but the way the makers divided that up is pretty blatant. Same with Ferox having its two figureheads be like, the only heroic dark skinned people in the game yet they’re from a warrior nation, and the “noble woman general” and dancer characters from the country are once again both white. Same ideology that produced this bullshit in another Ninty game which is perhaps even more blatant:

The word “waifu” used in relation to female characters is such a double layered concoction of terrible.
On one hand, it originated as and still is used as a word by men to show a creepy level of possessiveness over a female character (and not to mention how it’s a corruption of a ‘funny’ Japanese pronunciation but that’s a different story.) It’s a tool used to objectify and make female characters naught but the property of men.
On the other hand, so many other people use it as a term to put down female characters who have attracted audiences around them. There’s a kernel of value in criticizing female “characters” designed to pander to certain tastes to the detriment of women, but let’s be real, the word is used far beyond that–especially by men. It’s to the point where nearly every female character in certain fandoms is denigrated as a “waifu” by some contingent of people, and in reality it’s still being used to devalue female characters. I know to certain male fans it’s inconceivable that a woman could exist other than appeal to men, and when all female characters are put down like this, it lowers the stock of female characters as a whole, subject to a level of intense scrutiny and double standards which male characters do not undergo.
It feels like no matter how this word is used, it’s to the denigration of women. People really should reconsider using this word at all if they don’t want to come off poorly.

Have less-popular users call you out on your bullshit? Then out come the crytyping and the wailing about how the haters are bullying you for being open about your 'mental illness' or 'kin identity'.
I've seen older 20-somethings who seem almost proud to have 'enlightened' younger users to their 'true' identity as an agender/genderflux 'system'.

I have a smaller lolcow myself, I'm pretty sure this counts from how bizarre this guy is.
Watching from the sidelines, I've noticed that there's been some guy(let's call him T) who people are recently starting drama with because he admitted in a "Flight Rising" Discord server(with minors) that he wrote incest/pedophilia fiction with the characters Phineas and Ferb + Mabel and Pines/Bill(I think) from that Gravity Falls show. It was essentially plastered all over his blog, with him sperging about it and even modeling genitals of these characters to post for everyone to see. A pretty decent amount of people are freaking out about it, with groups of blogs supporting T because it's okay on their own standards("It's coping!"), and the other group angry because this could mean that T is an actual pedophile, and it would only be a matter of time before he ends up molesting a child.
His friend, R, has been intensely defending him over the situation, saying that there's absolutely nothing wrong with it as long as he hasn't caused any offenses. To the point where she's caused fights with people who disagreed on the matter and burned down at least two friendships.

Both of my personal lolcows are disabled transgender necrophiles.
The first is not actually a necrophile, though he claimed to be for the edge factor. He also blogged extensively about veganism for a while and said that killing animals for food was "abusive". Didn't seem to care that much though, as he posted about the fast food burgers he was enjoying just a few days after sperging out. He claimed to have a host of mental illnesses that he received SSI for— I don't doubt that he currently receives disability, but the truth of his various disorders changed from day to day. IMO, he is just someone who is well versed in the language of MI/recovery spaces. There was a lot of hilarious content on his blog. He recently deleted but he thrives on negative attention, so I'm sure he'll be up to his old antics soon if he hasn't remade already.
The second is everything she claims to be and has friends who encourage her bizarre behavior. She really really wants to be the corpse in her necrophilia fantasies and thinks that somehow makes it totally fine and not something she needs to seek help for. She's fairly well known, I'm not sure if she's been mentioned here yet, though I wouldn't be surprised.
Fun bonus fact: the first lolcow I mentioned absolutely hates the second.

I used to be friends with a genderqueer girl who was also asexual.
