I'm confused right now.

Deleted street fighter 2 off switch then says he's going to get street fighter on switch (after saying he was never playing street fighter 2 again lolwat) but before he said he was getting it on PS4 and someone was gifting it to him for xbox one. How many versions is he going to play?

I'll admit I haven't been following DSP as long as some people who frequent the board have but the only time I see Phil do complete 180s like that is when he needs to hide and obfuscate stuff, deny it ever existed or happened. It would be of no surprise to me if he later responded to participation cheers asking about kat denying he ever had anyone live with him and pretend she never existed. When that fails he will retcon the past saying she was a room-mate who moved out, or maybe go with the demon story and say she got possessed one day and had to be institutionalised.

I was watching him play SF2 last week in Tevin's stream and he was on one of the stages where there's people in the background (I don't do fightan games so don't know much more than that) and he said some cringy shit to the effect of "that looks like me and Kat in the background... she's holding my hand". I don't remember his exact wording but it was in that awful 12-year-old-talking-about-his-first-girlfriend tone that Phil gets because he's socially a virgin. That made me pretty sure she's still there. Maybe someone will have a better recollection of that than me though.

Because he's shown more restraint on his twitter apology, even if he was same ol' Phil on-stream. She's the one that's been making him make more rational social-media responses, showing more restraint. He just completely goes off the script on-stream, when she can't reign him in.

As for the lack of mentions, it's probably the one request from her he honors, since he probably thinks that she'll leave him otherwise. She's shown extreme uneasiness on camera and probably wants nothing to do with his online persona and the comments that could be made of her.

On the topic of Phil's Patreon, I can't think of a single content creator who does it worst.

1. Creat and shill a Patreon. Tie in goals to Patreon tiers (iirc 2 tiers of goals). It's moderately successful. This is the most competent Phil has ever been, because he was copying others without understanding the why's behind the setup.

2. Shoot yourself in the foot by shilling Subs over Patrons. Why? Who the fuck knows. Phil heard this was what some people do to make money and didn't bother understanding the why's.

3. The sub goal is set at one fixed amount but also increases this month. This means that for a channel without growth like Phil's the goals won't ever be hit. Fans money now goes half as far because only part of each Sub goes to him.

4. Phil abandons Patreon entirely. He doesn't hit or adjust Sub goals. Instead of changing up his rewards to drive Subs (still a bad idea) he shoots himself in the other foot by starting to a donation drive tip goal. While he at least gets all the money from these, he doesn't have a clear goal or reward, and the Sub money/tip money goals don't stack.

5. Having killed off all three possible revenue sources, he changes literally nothing to ensure his 'career' dies.

Phil has a self destructive drive like no other. I honestly feel like he couldn't consistently sabotage himself on accident anymore. There was no reason to abandon consistent Patreon money outside of the fact he's stupid.

I don’t think Kat left Phil, he said that he’s not mentioning her nor posting pictures on Instagram because of the amount of negative comments that he got everytime he posted pictures of food she was making. Personally I kind of feel bad for Kat, she seems like a nice person and hasn’t done anything that warrants the amount of negativity that she got from some trolls.

As long as people aren't going out of their way to personally attack her (and saying she's ugly isn't attacking her) then it is what it is. Almost all the shit she gets is in relation to how Phil is a fuck up.

Can she though? She's clearly had some fucked up stuff happen to her in her life. I know she's a real adult woman, but Phil gaslighted the shit out of her publicly to take advantage of her problems. Phil's let slip she has some financial trouble, she works a job folding shirts or some shit most likely, she was streaming to single-figure audiences before she met him. Then along comes a guy who makes $100k a year and owns a sweet house (two houses in fact), has done let's plays/streaming as a career for nearly a decade, and who says you're his soulmate. It can be very hard to resist that if you're fucked in the head. Now she's over on the other side of the country and truly alone. It takes a lot for you to look in the mirror and admit you've been sold a lie, it takes even more than that when your life would probably be legit ruined by acting on it.

Her life is gonna be ruined if she DOESN'T act on it. There is no future with Phil. I pray that if she has ANY sense at all, she's saving every penny she can to get her own place so she can get the fuck away from Phil as soon as possible. I don't care what kind of life she had prior to meeting Phil, I refuse to believe it was as bad as the prospect of living the rest of your life as a miserable hermit with a man who only "loves" you cause you do his chores.

Relying on Patreon fully is a bad idea if you actually *need* the money because at the end of every month you lose a bunch of people who's cards stop working. Subs are just $5 (at lowest price) and as its through Amazon there is a lot less mystery work.

Having said that I don't think most streamers really do "sub goals" just let you vote if you're a fucking patreon supporter though? He should've focused 100% on subs as soon as he started and instead of doing sub goals, he should've done special "sub chat only" days and actual exclusive content.

Well even if he is making an amount close to 2011-2013 levels, its pretty undeniable that not only is he paying for his second property now but he also likely has a lot more other debt now as well.

I think Patreon is superior; although cards can get declined on Patreon they can also fail to work when the new month rolls around on Twitch, and both services charge up front for the initial "purchase" or whatever. Patron gives you the money in 1-30 days depending on how close to the end of the month you get the pledge, while Twitch makes you wait 45-75 depending on how close to the end of the month you get the sub. In addition, Twitch can and will pocket your 2 months of money if you get banned, Patreon can only pocket your 1 month since that's all they're holding.

he still makes around 100k$ a year. in the golden years of the pigroach its was between 150k-200k$. he made close to a million since he started being a fulltime gamer/streamer aka being lazy.
