Phil's response: "I dont read tweets, all the response to my deleted tweets were invalid and trying to insult me, i blocked all of them, so for tweeter is still just great tool for me to contact with my contributor.....i mean fans, and I won't delete my tweeter, i repeat, I DONT READ NEGATIVE TWEETER RESPONSE, *Snoooort*"

After two days of backhanded crocopologies & false magnanimity...

Addressing dissent & criticism with insult, enveloping generalization, about 6 direct contradictions within one paragraph, victim complexing & of course, righteous indignation.

...there's our guy.

chat was shitting on the game mercilessly and with no mods (until late in the first stream) trolls were running rampant. The best part was watching subs, people with recognisable names shitting on the game. But he cant say its shit, he has to make his money back for paying for early access (and there werent many cheers/tips from what i saw)
Eh. He made his money back just from cheers + subs and had a number of tips. From the ones I actually saw, he probably had ~$30 in tips.

Game looks just as fun as State of Decay 1. . .with even more jank from reviewers. A talented streamer could make this interesting, especially if they went on a sort of "bug hunt." Not Burnell though.

State of Decay was a very jank-ass game. Especially the game of the year edition or whatever it was. I like the idea and was hoping 2 didn't have the Jank.

True; the combat felt stiff at times, characters moved super awkwardly, and I regularly yelled at my companions to "come the fuck on already. . ." However, despite all that, the game was incredible fun. I think a nicer sheen on the graphics helps SoD2 honestly.

The streams I saw on Monday and reviews like ACG make it seem like if you've played the game before, you probably will enjoy this one (and honestly a 70 is not a "bad" game). If Phil was actually good at his job, he could communicate that "fun" through to his viewers, but he's just not.

Bitching about other streamers in his prestream safe space where they can't get wind of it. Calling them "erroneous" and "wrong" and the stuff they said is "garbage." He's learned now. Be cowardly and say it all behind their back.

The one time I tweeted him it was about how he loved shadow of war and the peepul talking shit about loot boxes were idiots who didn't know what they were talking about, then when he actually got to the endgame he was saying how it's a cashgrab and the game is shit. I asked if he wanted some ketchup to eat his words with, he called me a moron, and blahked me.

I'm fairly convinced that "followers" work the same way as "facebook friends" - people simply click the button out of habit, it's like a macabre collection of humans.
Well, you shoud take into account that you also have to follow this channel before being able to participate in chat. Now, given that there are YT videos out there with a few million clicks but only a few ten-thousand likes because the viewers couldn't be bothered to click at the like/dislike buttons (they pressed buttons huh-huh), I suppose it's kinda sure to say that the same happens here with the people who enter his streamchat and are leaving shortly thereafter because they were bored, disgusted or banned - but couldn't be bothered to unfollow 'cause that takes a button to click. Just human nature I guess.

Edit: yeah, yeah, late to the party I know...

An approximation of DSP's historical subs based on comments he made over time about the count on Twitter.

So it's sure to say it was the end of 2017 when the climb to the gifted mountain began? I cannot imagine why his subs skyrocketed by then otherwise (EDIT: besides "Ahl Muh Taxes Live In Texas!").

....could Dave's preoccupation with Street Smarts be due to his having watched 'Get Street Smart: A Kid's Guide To Stranger Dangers with Corny' ?
Avid viewer of Red Letter Media?

He's gonna cry like such a bitch when he gets cast out of the Gout Kingdom, as all Phil's paypigs inevitably do.
God-complex paired with a heavy inferiority-complex. A classic recipe for a bad movie villian.

I love how he was wearing that fucking autistic Sonic hat even back then :story:

Howard, John, and those other two guys had the sense to just wear a regular baseball hat or beanie. Imagine that picture of Phil with the Sonic cap on his resume (I know, just humor me).

Remember that he had a pic of him with the Sonic hat on his business card. So Phil is exceptional enough to put that shit on his resume.
