Expensive bullshit that holds no more value than common-name brand clothing items yet maintains its expensiveness because of pretentious douchebag teenagers who like to pretend that by wearing this specific brand, they are somehow better than everybody else and their fickle, worthless, flash-in-the-pan existence is validated by some bullshit manufactured in the same Chinese sweatshop as every other brand of clothing.
 
For some reason I find Guess to be the best when it comes to fashionable stuff like this, maybe it's just because I have an autistic amount of love for their logo.

Gucci and Versace are both Italian fashion houses that produce flashy, borderline tacky clothes, which is an aesthetic that rappers like because they like to display their wealth in their clothes and jewelry. I think gucci as slang for good has been around for a while. Kanye West had a line in “Niggas in Paris” that was “what’s gucci, my nigga?” That song came out 7 years ago.
 
I habe always thought the Supreme logo looks like the old generic labels for food from long ago.

Basically, an expensive way of telling people that you do/don't get any pussy. And you can immediately tell which one it is by how much of said brand they are wearing.

that's like 500 bucks in todays money. i wouldnt spend that much money on shoes, let alone 300 or 200, even 100 bucks for shoes. cheap, 20 dollar shoes from the walmart is good enough for me
