What makes you think his dad even reads his credit card statements? The guy can barely keep a lid on his illiterate "analchest" son.
Apart from that, Tyce's dad must put up with a hell of a lot.

Of course, although I think if his dad really is a lawyer, the $300 is the least of his worries. I'd be more concerned for my son and his (lack of) "catana" skills.

I'm not entirely sure about the definition of "A-logging", but if it were I think it would be more like - "I sure hope Tyce stabs himself in the liver with his 'catana' so I can laugh about it." or something along those lines.

Neuromancer was great, I don't care how badly Gibson missed the mark. Imagine Jace trying to act smooth around Molly Millions, or better yet, flirt with her... "I really like your mirrorshades, they're sick!"
(Ugh... that's a brainfart. "Outer Heaven" is not "Villa Straylight", though both have cyborg ninja.)

Tyce comes off as a much worse person than Jace to me, to be honest. Jace has his problems, sure, but he sometimes manages to acknowledge them and make attempts to be better. Those attempts do not last long, and they fail spectacularly, but I give him props for at least trying. Tyce is just one of those kids like the ones I used to watch on that "Beyond Scared Straight" show on A&E when I had cable. He talks a lot of shit and puts on this front like he's the hardest of the hard, but it would crumble if he ever found himself in real trouble.
Both Jace and Tyce have their fantasy projections of themselves, so I guess maybe that was the basis for their "friendship"? I have no idea.
