Why would he bother to even try to draw? He gets tons of ass kissers just by shitting out the laziness he already puts out. Why would he want to use more effort and only maybe gain a few more fans? He might have people calling his laziness out less often, but people would still give him constructive criticism (oops, I mean "be haterz"). To him, effort would never be worth the pay off. Which is a real shame. Unless you're goofing off in a sketch book or something, there's no reason to never give 100% in your work.

Not as bad as that Mark Twain one though. But that is pretty horrible nonetheless. And this is coming from someone who can't draw hands worth a damn.
 
You know, his little bingo comic there is -almost- clever in what it sets out to do. By pairing in legitimate reasons to take issue with/criticize him with minor or petty things (eg. "HANDS" vs "Mention Anita Sarkeesian for some reason"), he tries to lump in the real problems with minor nitpicky issues. I say -almost- because it's still painfully obvious what he's trying to do and this still showcases his enlarged ego and paper-thin skin all at once.

There's a lot of fucking things I hate about this particular comic.

Even if he was making a completely valid point that would excuse him from past drama (he isn't), he's still a complete fucking douchebag. Only Dobson could take a neon colored teddy bear and draw it such an ugly pretentious expression.

I'd also like to point out that Pam doesn't exist and is an extension of his personality. By yucking it up with her about how dumb people on the Internet are, it's essentially masturbation. This is what's really happening.

It's so bizarre seeing as how Other M is Japanese as fuck and the idea of feminism is laughable over there. It's also possible he just really fucking sucks at video games and needs his hand held the entire time with minimal, easy puzzles (like in Fusion and Other M) versus the vaguer Prime trilogy.

Other M was made specifically made to appeal to Japanese gamers. Metroid games are pretty niche over there and lack the general appeal of other Nintendo properties.
 
Jezum crow, his art's degraded even further than before! What the heck is up with those lines?
Makes me glad that I'm working my ass off trying to improve.
Also, can I just throw it out there that I really hate that character design? I'm not even sure why but it's so creepy...
 
I gotta say, not only is Dobson's art getting worse and worse, but his ego is getting bigger and bigger. Doubt he even realizes that his own ego will cause him to get into deep shit.

Probably because Samus is a woman who is strong and independent, the complete opposite of the "ideal" Japanese woman/wife. Most Japanese gamers must find the concept of Samus to be absurd/stupid/laughable.

And indeed, the Japanese gamers they tried to appeal to didn't give a fuck about Other M anyways.

Myself included. Seriously Other M was one of the worst games I've ever played and by far the very worst Metroid game there is.

Like I said, I have to wonder if he just really fucking sucks at games and therefore needed the game to hold his hand the entire time. It also appealed to his secret inner weeb and his inner "feminist" didn't notice anything wrong because it basically doesn't exist.
 
I started using my twitter account for like the first time ever and decided to poke Dobson with some questions I'd had. May or may not be interesting to others.
