I love that they don’t seem to realize just how bad that looks. As @Jaimas said elsewhere, that makes the entire thing significantly darker than usual.

Even if they get all guns banned, it's not gonna stop people from killing classmates with other weapons, they're refusing to look into why kids snap for some reason and looking for something easier to blame than abysmal mental health care and the way bullying is allowed to run rampant.
