General Wrestling Discussion

Just found this gem, I miss Luna she was the best and i use to love watching her promos and matches.

We now have the chance for:

>Bryan vs. AJ
>Bryan vs. Nakamura
>Bryan vs. Balor
>Bryan vs. Juff Hardy
>Bryan vs. Itami
>Bryan vs. Adam Cole
>Bryan vs. Gargano
>Bryan vs. Ricochet

I can't control my horny level.

I wonder why the WWE doesn't care about these allegations. They've gotten rid of wrestlers for less. If it was only a few woman I can see them ignoring it, but there are a lot of women with similar stories.

Only thing I could think of is that she sold her girls to Vince and the people that worked for him.
My bet is it was Stephanie's idea, the moolah she knew growing up was a kindly old grandmother type. Moolah was pimping and ripping women off back in the 60s when Stephanie was in utero. The allegations were not that well-known until recent years and it's quite possible the McMahon family in general were unaware of what was going on because they're (at least Vince) pretty ignorant of wrestling outside of their universe. I'm surprised one of the veteran road agents like Hayes or AA didn't speak up about it though

I'm guessing he's going to either wrestle like post neck injury Austin or randy the ram from the wrestler
Plz just no diving headbutts.
I bet its probably going to be more austin, i think thats going to of been one of the concessions for him being cleared. If he feels stifled by the company i could see him leaving after next years wrestlemania and messing himself up on the indies but he should at least have enough money that he never has to be in the rams position.

Cornette's opinion:

Either way, fuck Moolah. Mae Young could take a bump better.

Indeed, look what it did to the Dynamite Kid overtime, all things considered. I'm sure they can come up with a new signature move for the "YES!" man himself.

And Chris Benoit. Dynamite went on record saying he wish he never did that move so that other wrestlers would copy him.

They could give him Almas's running double knee into the buckle that is basically a crotch thrust (Royal Rumble). I'm sure he could get that over.

Is that Ebessan?

I meant the part where he dies in the ring

Have him wrestle AJ his first run back. They can work around Bryan's limitations/possible initial ring rust and still look a million dollars. Also the internet will explode with markdom. (No Styles Clash though pls.)

It's not like leaving out the headbutt and possibly some other stuff is going to affect Bryan's work that badly; he has a moveset from God.

Is it just me, or do Impact Wrestling hardcore fans look incredibly cringy?

Not that hardcore WWE can be cringy, but impact has a fan base that is full of people that have a very fragile ego, whenever WWE gets into play and they still seem to think that they could be a viable opponent to Vinces global empire, eventhough they are just a glorified indy league now.

TNA Mecca is a sad, sad place. The saga of their admin Chris Regal faking his own death for online sympathy could be its own lolcow thread.

We are gonna need some details of this rich creamy lolmilk
Paging @CatParty and @yawning sneasel since they seemed interested in the subject of this one.

Okay, I've been trying to put together a lolcow thread for Chris Regal, co-founder and owner of TNAMecca. As mentioned in the TNA topic on the Hulkamania board, it looks like Regal faked dying of cancer in January last year for some reason, for some other reason came back to the site pretending to be his brother, and has recently had a full meltdown that has driven off his other co-founders. Here's a screencap from the @TNAMecca Quotes Twitter that gives a pretty thorough background on Chris and the situation:

Here's the argument that set "George" off and started this mess (note that these screens are taken after George's account reverted back to Chris Regal):

Reaction to George becoming Chris (taken mostly to demonstrate that they did appear different at one point):

Big Dawg (fellow co-founder of TNAMecca) arrives later to try and explain what's going on. No one's buying it, not even him:

(For the record, Chris said he was in his mid-to-late 30s and George was supposed to be his older brother from what I remember)

And then more weird shit happens a couple of days later with Big Dawg announcing that he's leaving the site. He later mentions that he wanted to make a statement before "losing power" and it looks like people are putting it together. He also mentions that someone else will take over managing the site, more on that in a bit:

He comes back a day or so later and gives one last comment on the situation:

And then things get weird. A new mod account called "TNAMecca Community" appears out of nowhere, says that control of the site has been handed over to them, and encourages everyone to go back to normal:

Oh, but it at least has a name! According to one person who has been digging into Chris Regal on the Wrestling Observer forums, apparently Theo is also Chris's dad's name so there's that.

My apologies for all the images but I wanted to be thorough and provide as much information on what the hell is going on here as I could. The tl;dr version is that Chris started the site a couple of years ago, then he "died" of cancer in January last year (an illness no one in the community ever knew he had, even his co-founders), his co-founder confirms with supposedly Chris's sister that the site has been paid for but for whatever reason she can't transfer ownership or full power over to said co-founder, George pops up and becomes part of the community (despite having no interest in pro wrestling and never discussing the site with his brother), George starts acting weird over time, and then this happens.
