Chris will shit himself and do nothing. Cole would rather be out some old dirty crapped comic books than get involved in a CWC Saga at this point. This is about as entertaining as this shit is going to get, sorry to disappoint you.

But isn't Cole apparently in need of money as well? This could cause Cole to get very angry with Chris.

I think the more worrying part is that these apparently survived both the house fire and the blasting of the fire hoses which drenched a lot of stuff (including the classic shirt)

I think he said it came from the Dream Studio Shed. I doubt any of the fire or water got there.

I would bet my money that Cole has no idea this is happening. And I wouldn't believe Chris will split the money until Cole confirms it. Chris will find some reason not to pay.

The fact that the Chandlers even had the comics in the first place shows how little Cole cares about them. He probably forgot they even existed. Even if he wanted them back I guarantee that to him having to interact with Barb would be more than their market value in his mind

Chris isn't that dishonest. He probably emailed Cole and asked him and Cole was more than happy to say yes. Who wouldn't? Sell some old junk you don't care about, make a few bucks. It's a good deal.

The conditions of the ones he's posted for sale are not too bad. The ones in the box looked rough though. But given his camera sucks and I can make out some minor flaws, they are likely average copies. In nice shape, but don't command Near Mint and over prices he's asking. Really if they sell it's only because of fatty's pedigree. (That hurt to type) He's asking for the same ballpark prices a dozen+ other listings are for the same thing.
