I came here expecting light conversation over baked pastries. Instead I got canon shattering intrigue and snooping in secrets.

BTW, the conversation [NAME REDACTED] is having over the phone kind of reminds me of the recruiting scenes in the X-Men movies for some reason. Granted, I know it's just going to be pint-sized pointy eared rainbow monsters, but all the same, it gets me stocked for more.

That's actually the voice I give to Mary Lee Walsh 3/4 of the time. I blame the audiobooks.

I just have to say, you guys are way too sweet. Thank you so much. I'm feeling better, just emotionally exhausted and sleep deprived right now. For the record, though, @silentprincess currently holds the title for the nicest person on the forums, at least as far as I'm aware.

Anyway, here's a sketch page for now. I think I'll give it a rest for now and give it a fresh start tomorrow.

I played around with negative space for this one, and I really like it. Very dark and mysterious.

I saw this on tumblr last night before I fell asleep, it made me super happy. At first I was legitimately expecting a straight retelling of the story (just modified to justify what Rosechu was doing) but I see now... perhaps I judged too soon. Now I'm even more anxious for the next one D:

Funnily enough, everything new that I added to the story, including the part Liquid plays, has been put in to help justify the events of the original comic, so in a way you were right the first time.

Well, this is embarrassing. I'm having trouble even writing the dialog for this next page. I'm not entirely sure if it's writer's block or if the stress of the move is finally getting to me, but for the first time in a while I've come up to a deadline without even a sketched out page, and it feels awful. :/

I'm going to try to get it done in the next few days, but if this continues I might need to take a hiatus until I get back from the road trip. I want to at least finish this scene before that happens, though, so I'll enlist the help of some friends. Until then, here's a small sketch for the next page:
