Money "Stuff I Bought From An Autistic Puppet" Megathread

Look, I think it'll be genuinely funny if you make a huge profit off of these cards and then rub it in Chris' face. But get some results first, then come here.

EDIT: and you know what, I'll even give you some free tips. The two most valuable cards in the collection are:
- Dark Arbok, which Chris bought on 9/11, that being the most notable thing that happened on that date.
- Dragonair, which appeared on the news with Chris.

Última edición:
I don't care of people buy stuff from Chris, but this is turning into "let's make money off the tard".
He's not making money off of the tard. As autistic as it sounds, pokemon cards actually have a substantial market outside of Chris' shenanigans. It's no different than if Chris sold Bob's chair on his front lawn and it ended up being resold as an antique.

This guy's got a solid chance to make a profit off of this purchase. But it'll be because Chris had something of value to sell, not because it happened to touch Chris' skin at some point.

He actually sells collectible cards and has for years. He's not a ween; he legit thinks he can make money flipping the cards. I don't think he had any clue what this site was about or what he was doing here.

It's not hard to figure out what kind of forum this place is though, the farms aren't exactly known for their discretion.

I don't disagree. I mean, the sign up page is even plastered with warnings.

And yet people routinely sign up and then immediately make very ill-advised posts, and halals of longer term members still happen occasionally. This guy is not the first to pop his head in and utterly fail at reading the room.

From the outside, it's hard to tell whether you'll be cheered or whether you'll be attacked for messing with Chris. The answer is obvious to us on the inside, but not to anyone else.

Also, disco has incredibly stupid standards for what constitutes "messing with Chris", as we've seen with this bryanfrogboy faggot recently.

Allow me to be the devil's advocate here, what's embarrassing about his dox? From what I've seen, dude seems like a boring family man who raises chickens and possibly volunteers in his spare time.

I don't see anything here that he isn't already putting out there himself. There's no Sonic OCs, no embarrassing fanfiction, no FetLife accounts..etc.

As far as I can tell, he doesn't really care much about his dox being out, as evidenced by him continuing to post updates in a nonchalant and business-like fashion.

Okay, so you found it for sale somewhere else that sells it for twice the price of the link I provided. Your point is?
Go to https://shop.tcgplayer.com/pokemon/base-set-2/alakazam?xid=i7861235b09f3444ab17322e03043f61d

Search for Near Mint. There is only 1 for sale on the biggest secondary market for Pokemon cards. TCGPlayer LOW is the most accepted price for trades and quick sale.

I didn't even know that was a link. If Troll and toad are selling it for $8. Go buy it. People on TCGPlayer will pay more.

Yeah, but I found a place selling the exact same card as yours for substantially less. If I were in the market for the card that you were selling I would not buy it from you. Not because it's tangentially related to some Chris-chan nonsense or whatever, but because the sellers I found are offering it for nearly half of your asking price.

You're banking your entire investment on the hopes that everyone who buys cards from you doesn't shop around first?

I actually don't spend much time in this subforum, but the mob on the site in general can be ridiculously capricious, alternating between asspatting someone and a-logging them for weening. Ntwadumela got showered with "winner" ratings for posting the same acts of weening that eventually got him banned. Some idiot in the Greer thread (forget his handle because I try to avoid that thread) weened constantly for weeks and initially was being worshiped by the short-bus brigade there until suddenly he got banned and had a ton of "dumb" ratings on his last ween post that was indistinguishable from 100 of his posts preceding it.

Usually these sudden shifts in public opinion are brought about by a single mod or old boys club member calling everyone out. It's always pathetic.

But regardless, one thing that I've never seen get a positive reaction here is giving a lolcow money (barring giving like $1 to a patreon account to get access to content to share here). Those threads always turn into a feeding frenzy immediately.

Usually KF can squeeze out the at least the barest turd of a justification for their behavior.

However, they can't even do that here.

If you can find a better price, buy it there. I can't sell on their market. I sell for TCGPlayer LOW, or lowest price on Ebay. Those are my markets. If I wanted to I could jack up prices and sit on them for a higher profit, but as I said in the first video I try to sell as cheap as possible to offload as soon as possible. That's the beauty of the free market.

I agree with most of this post, except the quoted part, while you are generally correct about this place frowning on people who give money to lolcows, this isn't the case here.

This guy gave Chris money for something that has actual value in the real world, he didn't give it to him ironically, he didn't give it to him for the lulz, he actually bought used merch from a guy that just happens to be a lolcow, and he has a very clear and predetermined plan on how to move said merch and make money on it.
