and even if you feel like you drew Chris badly, it's still a better representation than what was in the original comic.

A couple of things I'd like to discuss here.

First, I've noticed that ever since I started going Sunday only that the story has just sort of slowed to a crawl. We spent the better part of the last month behind a refrigerator door, for Christ's sake, and I'm beginning to feel like people are losing interest, and rightly so. I was wondering if I could get your guys' input on this. I can either try to keep going as I am now, or I could go back to doing Thursdays and Sundays and simply take a few haituses while I'm busy with the move. I'm tempted to just go back to twice a week, just because I haven't made a whole lot of progress getting ahead of schedule, and I'm afraid I'd have to take a haitus no matter what I do.

Second thing I'd like to discuss is an idea for a game I had. I don't know how many people know about or remember the commercial bumpers for the old Pokemon cartoons, but they had a little game called "Who's that Pokemon?"


I was thinking of doing that, except having it be "Who's that Sonichu?", where I post the silhouette of one of Chris' many nearly identical sonic recolors for people to guess. It sounds a little stupid (and it probably is), but I thought it would be fun anyway. Honestly, this isn't something I'm planning to do right now, I'd probably want to wait until the move is out of the way, but I'd like some feedback if any of you are interested.
 
if you're able to get an extra page out a week, that'd be awesome, but I'm also fully okay with a page a week as well. Don't put yourself out trying to get pages out faster, I'm perfectly okay with the pace they're coming out at. So whatever works best for yo, go for it Trickie. I'll still be here reading. ;)

And I am all for that game!

I'm honestly not very much into reading the Fan Jam (it's really very hit or miss overall) and would like to see more Rosechu's Story- that is, of course if you have ideas and will to keep doing it. This wouldn't be fun for anyone if you were bored and forcing it.

"Who's that Sonichu" would be amusing, even if all of us would probably guess these easily. Has my yes vote.

Also, "Who's that Sonichu" would be a good way to preview character designs before they appear in the comic.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind either update schedule. Yeah the pacing has been a little slow lately, but the writing is so good that I feel like the "Kel's cabin arc" could go on for even longer and I wouldn't mind at all. Although I do see where you're coming from, we did spend a long time behind that fridge, however there was never a part where I thought to myself "Really? They're still behind that fridge?" or "Why are they still in Kel's cabin?" and when that whole thing was over Sonichu did something to keep things interesting that I didn't expect at all. So basically I'd just go with whichever one would be more convenient for you. We wouldn't want you to run out of steam this quickly!

Oh Godbear I am going to suck horribly at this game, but ok let's give it a shot and I'll try my best.

I would love to try the Who's That Sonichu? game!
And I would also love to see you update twice weekly again just because I can't get enough of this story :) but do what works for you!
 
Honestly, I'm still interested no matter what you choose to do.

I don't mind how you release the pages as long as you do! I'm loving this!

As for Who's that Sonichu? YES.
 
Hmmm...Is Rosechu going to learn about Sonichu's powers?

Also, I'm looking forward to seeing if Rosechu will get the other females, and even some of the male chus getting together to take out Chris as soon as he gives his "stay in the kitchen" spiel...or just having Rosechu go crazy Lioness on her, albeit ranting about actual women's rights, not Chris's self serving version.

If it means something, I always read the new pages of Rosechu's story, even if I'm not always commenting. I'm such a bad, bad lurker!
 
I have to echo the others- work on the pages at your own pace. We'd rather have the pages come at a slow pace (one every week or two) than have them not come at all! Don't burn yourself out!

Anyway, you gotta do what you gotta do, Trickie. Don't burn yourself on this, especially if it's to the point where it isn't fun to do anymore/ it becomes more of a "job" to do.

Also, sounds like fun with the "Who's that Sonichu" game, but I might have to abstain. Working on TRS I've actually begun to memorize the little stupid nuances in all of the characters Chris has made. Still, for non-psychopaths, it could be a hoot. :)

If it came to that, it would cease to be a hobby for you. Plus, imagine the potential shitstorm that would ensue once Chris gets word that people are actually paying you to do this.
 
No really, we're getting a great comic for free. I wouldn't even complain if we'd barely get one or two pages every month. As for the pacing, while I inderstand if you want to speed things up a little, I think this slower pace fits the story quite well. Not all comics must be about rearranging the entire universe on every page. Not to mention that the dialogues alone are setting up some interesting things that makes you go "oh shit, son!" rather frequently, so things are still quite intriguing.

Man Rosechu's already had enough of Sonichu's shit, I have a feeling that at this point Rosechu forced herself to kiss Sonichu outside for whatever reason. I almost feel like they won't actually end up together, but given the direction the original comic was taken in, I already know that's gonna happen. I can't imagine Rosechu would enjoy their relationship all that much, though. But then again this comic could surprise me, it has before, after all...
