English help

There's generic words that mean anybody who unwittingly falls for a scam, like a "sucker." In this sort of situation they're being used just for their money, so they could be called a "tool."

Is cuck a good word to describe them?
I'm pretty sure "cuck" is used colloquially the same way you'd refer to somebody being "baited;" they're expecting something and are about to get it only to have it taken away. These people aren't expecting something by donating money, they're just being lied to and falling for it.

Thank you. "Tool" is the word I'm looking for.
