Culture Christmas Season started early in Germany - Bomb diffused at Potsdam Christmas Market.

I couldn't find an english article, but the Christmas Market was evacuated after a "suspicious object" was found, that turned out to be a bomb.

A package was delivered to a pharmacy, when the clerk opened it, he saw wires and called the cops.
According to the police, inside the package they found a cylindrical object and a lot of nails...

I'll update as more info becomes available.

Última edición:
Wow, and they didn't let it go off? Pajeet worked hard on that! How Islamophobic, I thought Germany was progressive.

Apparently, they blew the package up rather than trying to diffuse it.

See, that's why these cavemen use trucks, knives or russian assault rifles. They are massively incompetent, their bombs (fortunately) seldom work if they aren't hooked up to a button and a vest.

What's the over/under for incidents on European christmas markets these year?
I'm going with 6.
Are we talking about attacks executed involving casualties or merely attempted? I'll go with 2 that have a body count over 10. There will definitely be more than that attempted and there will always be the muzzie so retarded he only manages to knife one or two people.

So, a few more infos have been released.
It seems the nails were inside a can and the "bomb" itself was actually a polish firecracker with a battery, a couple of wires but no detonator. There might also have been some other substance (maybe plaster) inside the package. The police is sort of vague about the exact details of this bomb, but it seems it could not have detonated on its own.

The pharmacy is close to the Christmas Market, but it's still possible that it was actually aimed at the pharmacy (god knows why though) and not the market.

Are fake bombs just to scare people a thing? Or was the perpetrator really that incompetent?

We'll have to wait to find out, I guess.

Also, when I say it used a polish firecracker, it sounds somewhat harmless, but that's basically like saying it's low-yield dynamite. In the eastern parts of Germany, they are known as rather efficient hand-removal equippement.
Can't find a decent video, but depending on the size, they are very well capable of killing someone.

The only thing blowing up here with nails everywhere is Truck of Peace tires.
