It's interesting that you pointed out something from the Legends, DICE could pull some of the outfits from that continuity as throwback costumes for the Heroes if cosmetic microtransactions are introduced. Could be stuff like damaged Vader from The Force Unleashed or even Life Day robes for Chewie for shits & giggles.Not only this, but at one point in the past, there actually was a White Darth Vader in the comics.
Might not adhere to current canon, but neither does having every Hero available for all eras, so...

Bullcrap. Speaking from experience with Planetside again, but a lot of players love joke gear. Pink camo is one of the most popular in Planetside, mainly because tryhards get irrationally angry about being killed by someone wearing pink and driving a bright pink tank that makes toilet flush noises when the driver presses the horn.
It's almost like video games are mean to be fun or something.

- Hoth clothes (maybe he wears this one in the Hoth map)

- Jedi Knight (the all-black outfit he wore in Return of the Jedi)
- Super-ultra-rare-outfit: Old Luke
