That will depend on how the game portrays that black resistance woman. If the game portrays her as being a flawless, Nazi killing woman who don't need no man, then it'll get that shield. If it doesn't do that, or pulls some sort of a Bioshock Infinite twist with her, then expect the game to be deemed "problematic" on places like Neogaf.

Not gonna lie, this game has the potential to produce tons of salt from both sides, so it can be quite the treat for us.
 
Some people I know are interested in buying the game just because of the marketing (you can tell where they skew on the political spectrum) so it's not like what they're doing is ineffective.

Either way, I don't think these idiots even realize that there was even a time in history a true pro American patriot would be against Nazism and would support killing them.

These idiots, be it some KiA sperg or a Twitter autist, are either some sort of legit Nazi, an alt-right sperg who thinks Wolfenstein is some personal attack on them, or even some idiot anti-SJW failing to realize the marketing was simply there to sell a product. Don't know if this guy really spergs (chances are he might) but this all has to do with marketing. Either way, the marketing isn't really much of a political statement (unless one was that anal in tying anything to politics). Some KiA users try to say this shit is polticial. Sure, because some marketing tool is political. Even though it used a derivative of MAGA and shooting Nazis, this shit isn't really going for the ANTIFA crowd nor is it really going to pander only to SJW's. It's still an ultra-violent FPS that allows one to play a freedom fighter fighting against Nazis with robohounds, not some LARPING ANTIFA whose getting into fights with alt-right neckbeards.

Also, much as Trump jokes and such can be stale and unfunny and all, it's not going to excuse the fact people bitching about this game attacking Trump are being autist. Seriously, it's just a game exercising its freedom of speech with marketing and cracking jokes and jabs at shit going on in modern life.

A lot of the trailers actually do shoe gameplay footage so allegations of "appealing to those who don't play" are quite inaccurate. Why else would you throw footage of BJ rolling around and being badass?

Also, KiA's fall makes me sad. They're the king that kills the jester because the jester had the audacity to point out that he fucked up. Ah well, least we're still here.

Even if for some reason it's true that all the rage comments there just so happen to be raiders who post there for over a year, still won't change how pathetic this whole situation is where a game about fighting Nazis which has been the theme for years just has to be controversial.

Didn't the protagonist talk shit to the ertaz Jimmy Hendrix for calling Americans Nazis in the last game? I played the timeline with the Scotsman, so I have no idea.

According to KIA's own salt cascade, they blamed the salty crap on a bunch of marxist subs brigading the original topic. I retorted they needed to realize how much they were up in arms about that themselves and that a lot of their own bitching made them just as idiotic (and even more hypocritical) than the "SJWs" they tried to pin all this on.

tl;dr: I don;t play favorites, both sides were acting like childish faggots and it was pathetic to watch.

That scene in particular had Jimi compare America's government to Nazis because of racism, though it's worth noting that several propaganda cartoons from the time period were encouraging people to let go of anti-black racism in favor of anti-Japanese racism. BJ has a tendency to lose his fucking shit when Nazis are involved, but Jimi does have a bit of a point with his comparison.

So black resistance girl is going to depend heavily on if she pulls the same comparison. Personally i do hope they conflict a bit, half the fun of New Order was seeing how everyone acted and watching them react to being in this insane world.
