Babies usually do react that way to seeing themselves on screen. But truthfully I think he doesn't look in a mirror all day so when he sees himself that's his genuine reaction to how fucked he looks.

Does Phil use a pad or stick when he fails at fighting games? I know there's old photos/video of him using a stick, but I think he shows his PS4 pad when he spergs at Marvel. It probably doesn't explain the worst of the idiocy, but going back and forth between those has a bit of a learning curve; especially for a lazy fuck who won't put the effort in.

Watching my first 'pre-stream' in a while, he's mentioned 'the business' 3 or 4 times in the last minute

going on a roundabout speech about him setting up an Amazon Wishlist, says he needs a new pair of gaming headphones 'not those el cheapo's a good pair like 300 dollars'

says he hasn't decided if he's going to set up a wishlist yet but it sure sounds like it's imminent

He uses a pad now. He's had sticks in the past, but I've never seen him use one on stream. I wish he'd use a hitbox so there'd be absolutely zero "I was holding BACK dood!" ground for him to stand on.

Also I find it strange he doesn't have a camera on his hands for fighters. That's pretty universal in FG streams.

But then we'd see him mashing on wakeup so maybe it makes sense.

Honestly this just goes to show what an idiot he is. Price isn't everything. I bought a pair of $200 headphones and a pair of $50 headphones. The $50 turned out to be way better in every way. Sennheiser G4ME versus HyperX Cloud. Sometimes you're paying for the name rather than the quality. Phil is the type of guy to buy a phone with specs 2 years old because it's the new iPhone dood so I shouldn't be surprised he's trying to m.ilk his audience for brand name headsets.

I just replaced a set of $500 headphones that I've dropped hundreds of times on the floor over the past 8 years and they've never been damaged, they haven't been treated like the fairy godmother, they've really been put through their paces. I replaced them because they actually wore out to the point that replacing parts on it would end up costing more than just buying a new set.

The problem is he buys absolute shit that doesn't last. Shitty gaming headphones from shitty companies that last like 1 year at most with even regular use. If that's all you can afford, fair enough, I wouldn't shit on people for that, but Phil bought shit when he had money and still wants to buy shit when he doesn't have money.

PS: sorry I didn't get a chance to do a breakdown of the prestream today I'm busy with some other shit

lol, he's telling BSV about how he got a mega huge cheer the other day ($300) and how BSV isnt the highest cheerer anymore. I'm sure he's trying to goad him into cheer more rofl.

lol he's mentioning how Vidar got beaten for the largest all time cheer to the stream but he may not know since it isn't on the leaderboard. 'I'm not mentioning it because I expect Vidar to beat the cheer I just know that he's competitive about it' right

Exactly, or he could just get a decent pair of stereo headphones and connect them to whatever audio interface he uses. But he's got to get the newest wireless 7.1 Turtle Beach cans dood.
 
Wow Phil deserves an emmy award for today's prestream.

He's lecturing his viewers that people who are complaining about lootboxes should buy the game but not buy lootboxes but they can't do that because they can't exercise self control

He also said he would never be able to get a sponsorship because of the mean way people have treated him over the years.

EDIT:
Not even 5-10 minutes later, Phil is saying he needs to get on the game because he's been answering cheers for 27 minutes. How's that self-control going Phil?

I know I'm several pages late (been busy, couldn't post this), but you know the way DSP always gets the last word/insult then blocks people on twitter?
What if people started doing that back? Just block him before he can reply.
