DarkSydeMom apparently is a lot like Phil so lol. And chainsmoked while she was pregnant with him, but since this is Phil talking about it these claims are dubious at best.

Some HOAs do have these terms.
If they even noticed it at all, it's either because trolls reported him to the HOA or, more likely, he somehow pissed off one of his neighbors with his douchebag behavior and the neighbor complained.
If they do have a term like that and he's violating it, and they tell him to stop, and he claims it's not a business, about the first thing they'll do if they sue him is demand his taxes and other records and if he'd described it as a business on his taxes such as by taking deductions on it, he's pretty much fucked.

DSP has a business loan but doesn't have a business? I'm not sure why he wants to deny his business, but his statement would probably upset some lenders...

I thought about this some time ago. They're probably your average retired, middle-class boomers who care for their only son but are surely aware of what a fuckup and loser he is. Granted, they only get their perspective on Phil's life from Phil himself (who's obviously gonna lie about a ton of shit) - but there's no way they don't worry in private about all of his obviously terrible decisions. Phil's father seemed to make a genuine effort to shape Phil into being a normal, functioning, independent man; he got him an actual job, got him an accountant to handle his taxes, helped him move, and, I imagine, advised him on just about everything else (his car, his relationship, his spending, etc)
What must they have thought when they heard Leanna dumped him shortly after the proposal? I can't imagine they're surprised. It must be a shitty feeling being a parent and owning a guy as childish and loathsome as Phil is. Do you think they look him up online? Have they heard of the fapping videos, and all his e-begging? In my experience, most mothers will dote regardless of what a garbage person their kid is, but his dad must be extremely disappointed in what a pathetic, shameless, incompetent excuse for a man Phil grew up to be. There's a certain disgustingness to Phil's existence and attitude that I'm certain they've picked up on and are aware won't change.
It's very surprising to me we don't have more information on his relationship with them than we do. There probably isn't much to discuss - he treats his parents like living ATMs, and they consent because they feel a paternal obligation to their gouty-spawn.

During his moving vlogs, he stopped at his parents place before him and Leanna went to the airport to Washington. His Mother has a huge smokers voice and looks like the type who wears a housedress and might be in her 60's. His Dad was shown from the neck down in a photo they took at their last dinner out in CT. He looked presentable and was thin. His Dad clearly takes more pride in his appearance than his son does.
Phil is so pathetic that when his parents flew out to WA to visit, his Dad had to teach him to:
Kill weeds
Clear vines out of his fireplace vent
hang pictures on the walls
clean his garage
build a shelf

He did post a photo of them once on instagram. You couldn't see his dads face but he has the same slicked back hair as phil. His parents are like any baby boomer parents, they have no concept of youtube. He could easily lie to them about how youtube works and how much money he makes.

I don't wanna go off topic or anything, but the post about the Black Currant's info, is that Leanna's actual phone number in it?
I don't plan on calling any numbers posted here, but I always figured the one thing DSP and Leanna kept hidden from the internet was at least their phone numbers.

He has shown pictures of them, not great ones, but they are in them!
His dad has been a bit succesfull and had some manager positions, his dad is supposedly the reason as to why he got a job at Sikorsky, we did some checking out like a year ago or so on the thread!

To be fair, you can work from home without owning your own business. Its a fairly popular thing in the tech world, so him just saying "did you hear me working?" wouldnt be enough for him to say to a neighbor. However, it "could" be possible for an over zealous anti-dsp individual to find out who the condo board is, send the officers an email or letter stating he's in violation of their bylaws by running a business "DSP Enterprises" out of his house. Present the leaked information from comcast to these board members as proof of running a business... its a reach.
Its a reach for me to say its just the action of a detractor without proof. It is a wild speculation. If we knew the bylaws of the condo association then we would know if its even a possibility. That would be a REAL reach tbh. There are very few condo associations that would say you couldnt even sell Avon from your home.
Another theory along these lines, the neighbor DID hear noise coming from him. Late night screaming and obscenities. That "sound proofing foam" he has... its just a few squares behind him and on a side wall. That's not soundproofing. That's preventing echoing in the room on his vlogs or streams, but its not soundproofing.
