They kinda didn't have a choice since, these people were kids at the time. They were brought here by their parents. (It's generally not a good idea to punish people for things that weren't their fault. Especially if they were minors at the time.)

For people who think it's cruel parents be separated from their children, the home countries almost always allow the children to come back with the parents. And what does it say about the shit hole they've come from in which the parents would choose for their kids to live in a foreign nation as orphans over taking them back with them?

Having a "big heart" is not a prerequisite to becoming president and neither should it be. Any politicians who claims to have one (like Obama) are ones we must be weary of at all times. Trump may be a shitty person but at least he's open about it.
You know, I was thinking about being sympathetic towards undocumented immigrants who came here as minors because after all, it was not their choice. But when I see shit like them getting college for free while most college students are buried with debt (especially the deserving ones who work their ass off to have a future), my sympathy immediately vanish. Especially if these are not isolated cases and that Obama has made to where illegal immigrants do get free shit they don't deserve.
Either make to where illegal immigrants cannot receive scholarships and grants or send their ass back to Mexico. I don't care if you are a valedictorian with a 4.0 GPA and lots of medals. If you are not a documented immigrant, don't fucking steal our country's scholarships.
Oh and they just had to brag that they are not documented like that is something to be proud of. But of course like they say, it's on the Internet forever and employers will take a look on this if by chance they stay in the USA.

From what I've seen Trunp is trying to force Congres' hand.
He's formally ended the program, but it'll keep on going for another six months. In the meantime, he hopes that Congress can actually pass it (or a revision of it) as law. And if they don't, the program will be gone and they will have had an opportunity to fix it but they didn't

The person they should be angry at is Obama. This is a textbook example for why he was a terrible president, when you ignore congress and abuse executive orders to get what you want, your legacy can just as easily be destroyed by the next guy signing a few papers. Trump is actually playing this smart since he's put congress's balls in a vice since now they have to pass some kind of legislation in the time frame he's given them.
Also, if you were stupid enough to not try and get legal status after Obama gave you a get out of jail free card you deserve to get departed for being an idiot.

This will probably be the one thing thus far in Trump's presidency both parties align to pass asap, which we can only hope he vetos. Republicans voted multiple times to repeal Obamacare care under Obama but now that it's a reality to end it they're scrambling to keep it in place. It's been apparent to some people for decades now that Democrats overtly want to control every aspect of you life and Republicans subversively. They're both funded by the same interests and are putting on what amounts to a reality TV show for us and we all know those are scripted.
By minors, Obama meant anyone under the age of 34.
Not making that up, that's a "kid" under this policy.

The DREAMers are not children or teenagers, many of them are adults who came here as children, but are adults now. And seriously, if you've been here since you were a child and are now an adult and your English skills are still "limited", get the fuck out, you're either not interested in assimilating, or are too mentally deficient to learn English. Either way, not someone we need.

My main problem with DACA isn't the kids that have been raised here being allowed to stay, but those benefits then being extended to their parents and relatives (which is part of the overall program. Parents can avoid being deported due an impending claim due to the "pending" citizenship of their children). The kids were not given a choice and this country is all they know, it seems cruel to punish them for their parents actions and send them back to a place they don't remember.
It's true that people shouldn't come here illegally, but there really is no real "legal" option for a poor or average people to immigrate to the USA unless they have an immediate USA citizen relative or spouse willing to sponsor them. People with college degrees can get an employer to sponsor a work visa, but you're shit out of luck otherwise. The only way anyone without higher education, a citizen parent/spouse or lots of money can immigrate to the US legally is via a "visa lottery" which has tiny quotas in various countries and about x1000000 more applicants than spaces available.
The immigration system in the USA is in dire need of overhaul but our govt. has been to cowardly to take decisive actions to do so - because no matter what they do it will piss off one side or the other so instead they shit the bed and do nothing.
(One interesting side note - asian and indians immigrants have been much smarter about US immigration. They have built business empires (restaurants, gas stations, hotels, nail salons) that allow them to bring lots of their family members and fellow countrymen over via work visas - they get cheap workers for their businesses and the employees get to come here. The immigration system is fucked, but they've managed to create systems and methods within it that allow many of them to legally stay and work here - unlike South American and African immigrants who just sneak in and hope they don't get caught.)

A lot of eastern and southern Europeans are great at skirting the system in that way too. Quite a few of them come into the country in that fashion every year, but no one really talks about the influx of European immigrants since, as far as I know, majority of them are going the legal route, normally through family business if they don't have higher education.
Funny enough, some big Youtuber is under DACA and is Slovakian, but I forget what his name is. He's freaking out over DACA, but the fact he's made himself a business and is happily paying taxes means he'd easily be on the road to citizenship. It's pretty obvious he's just going for view money, since I'm fairly sure he would be able to afford legal counsel to help him at this point.

That's inevitable. If we deported only their parents, we'd be punishing their children by making them live without parents. In that event they'd realistically go back with their parents even if they weren't forced to.

It's not but if you don't think the construction, farm and meat production industry (to name just a few) in this country would grind to a halt without illegal immigreant labor you don't know much about the US economy. This is why work permits or something is needed - poor uneducated randos come here because we need them - they wouldn't easily find countless hard ass crappy jobs to support themselves here if we didn't.
Also, believe it or not America is known and has prided itself for being a "nation of immigrants" since it's inception. Poor uneducated randos are the reason this country exists, very few rich educated Europeans 200 years ago had any interest in moving across the Atlantic - it was the poor ppl with nothing who came.
