Had a group of them try and set up shop in the woods behind my workplace. I think the cops purposely let them set up their tents and stoves before they ran them out, just so they'd have to repack and leave tired.

Well the IRA or IRA's have always acted as community police in a way when it comes to Drug dealers and Anti social behavior.
There is even paramilitary groups like "Direct Action Against Drugs" set up specifically to tackle such behavior.

Like what happened in Limerick when the council confiscated their horses due to them letting the bloody things run wild in the estates and shit everywhere, so the Gypo's decided to further ruin the place and further make life hell for the residents.
From what I've seen of the Roma Gypsies they're filthy beggers that steal from Charity shops.
