ICE came to town. What happened to Octavio?
Really, we all know the truth: Arlen exists within our heart. The average highway speed on Texas highways is 70 mph, which means that Arlen is 140 miles from Dallas. So the area where the two circles intersect in Texas is where Arlen is.

Chicken ovary failure masculinisation had became one of these animal illnesses that are ubiquitously considered troondom by lefties. They made it sound like she literally became male and started calling her 'him
I liked it when they revealed Jimmy Wichard was Thatherton's number 2 guy.Overall, I was impressed by this season. I laughed out loud quite a few times, like when Hank said something along the lines of “Well, there was a humble carpenter who changed the world. Bob Villa.” Also, Dale just proudly walking around naked in that episode.
Sure, there were some problems. I don’t get the chicken episode. It’s like some idiot writer really wanted to do some tranny shit, but a higher up said, “NO,” and we got whatever that was. Also, I thought Luke Jr. was already established as a joke character because Boomhauer, the usual lothario, has a serious girlfriend and he just takes care of her kid for free (however, a funny moment from this episode was Boomhauer trying to think of girl names and only coming up with stripper names.)
The animation is a problem. I frequently noticed that the background was just blurry or odd. I hate that they put Redcorn back with Nancy. A huge part of her character development was getting rid of him (and going bald) in the original run.
But, man, this was a good season. They got a new dog, and it was heartwarming to see Hank’s struggle (all too real to those of us who own dogs). I even teared up a little bit at the last episode, because Strickland Propane was always going to Hank, and I’m happy they gave us fans that moment.
Going to give this a solid 9/10.
I'm surprised they could show Jimmy Wichard now since he's retarded and not portrayed nicelyI liked it when they revealed Jimmy Wichard was Thatherton's number 2 guy.

Hank says in the Boggle episode that Arlen is a two hour drive from Dallas.
I ordered season 3 and 4 on DVD and am going to rewatch the classic seasons instead of this shit.
Hank cares deeply about Dale and is at best indifferent and at worst hostile to Khan, he probably didn't consider the two situations to be the same. There's one episode from Season 14 that confuses me. It's either the episode where Hank is uncomfortable with lying about Kahn and Minh's divorce or a later episode where Dale and Nancy are marriage missionaries despite Nancy knowingly engaging in ex-martial affairs with John Redcorn.
I remember Hank having a "tell" when he's lying through blinking. But, neither episode makes sense since Hank has willingly covered up Nancy's affairs AND willingly lied to Luanne about her dad working at an oil rig, which in reality, he was a felon.
Hank justified not telling Dale about Nancy with "letting sleeping dogs lie." That makes sense since Dale is proven to be unstable. Directly telling him would either make him snap or he'd just deny the obvious again. And Peggy initiated the lie about Luanne's dad, Hank just went along with it. I guess there was a pragmatic reason behind it similar to Dale.
Dale's last line should've been, "Why is John Redcorn leaving? It usually takes him two or three hours to cure Nancy's headaches by having sex with her." I don't care about continuity, I think it would've been a funny beat to end on.The Dale cucking comes across as mean spirited now. It was a funny joke at first, now it just feels rather... What's the word, "undoing?" Like it just up and undid a lot of character work done in previous seasons.
I think the problem with doing a Ladybird episode is that in-universe she has been dead for awhile. Most people don't grief about a pet for that long. Even a core family pet that was like a member of the family. Most people will have a hard time putting their beloved dog or cat down and will be depressed about it for awhile after. But time will eventually heal the wound. Was Hank going to leave Ladybird with Luann and Lucky? I figured he wouldn't take the Aramco job until she died. I was ready to have a sad dog episode, then they just kind of ignored her.
Bobby's only 13. But Ladybird, she's THIRTEEN.I think the problem with doing a Ladybird episode is that in-universe she has been dead for awhile. Most people don't grief about a pet for that long.
I haven't seen the episode yet because I'm planning to have marathon with my sister but I can see Hank having to regrief about Ladybird because they are back in America. He got back all of these things from people to places but not his dog. The environment would just remain him about the past and old wounds could reopen. Especially if was dealing with a new pet.I think the problem with doing a Ladybird episode is that in-universe she has been dead for awhile. Most people don't grief about a pet for that long. The grief from Ladybird dying probably already occurred in-between the original series and the revival. Hank has already gone through it. There is no need to do an episode about him dealing with losing Ladybird when he is likely years removed from her dying. Personally I think the best way they could have done an episode featuring Ladybird is to have the Hills get a new dog.
Have it start off with Hank saying something like "Since we are back in America why don't we get another dog? It has been years since Ladybird passed. We should do it." to open up the premise. They maybe get a new dog, deal with headaches of having to train it (especially when they are now older) and have Hank reflect on how different things were with Ladybird. It could make for a simple but effective plot.
