Unrelated but a personal theory of mine that relates back to Rudyknight is that the knight's armor acts like the armor the Forerunners have in the extended Halo universe where it both gives its user strength and health.

Think about it, the only times we see Rudy healthy are after encounters with the Knight (Church after the bossfight in Chapter 3 and setting up the flowers after Chapter 4). The reason Rudy fell is because he went too long without becoming the knight thus losing his stamina plus in Chapters 1 & 2 where we don't see the knight, Rudy is bedridden in the hospital.

What are your guys' thoughts?

Chapter 5 actually made people like Kriselle more than Suselle

It helps that Weird Route had Noelle raise her power level so high. You didn't corrupt her, you just helped her jump straight to Super Saiyan and saw how interesting she really is when she isn't a living caricature of herself. Also, the poll and ferris wheel scenes.

I personally recall one where when I first entered the secret boss room, the screen was completely black + I could hear dialogue but not see anything. I was able to get out of the room somehow and everything went back to normal so it worked out in the end. Just wanted to mention since I haven't heard of any other anecdotes of that.

More and more evidence that Toby DID NOT make Chapter 5, busy with Chap 6 and/or 7 while the Troon Squad helped him. Chapter 5 may be what could be salvaged from their mess. I would like to think that Toby did not want Assgore's final fate to be so pathetic and repeat what UTale did.

Personally I don't think I favor any of the ships aside from Berdly harem. I like looking at all the relationship dynamics between the characters. Which makes it really crazy to me how little I care for Susie and Noelle. I think if the the main plot didn't involve it, I would have liked it more as Noelle just being a simp for a big stinky dinosaur on the side, the way I found it endearing Catti had a crush on Noelle. But alas.

Tbf I don't really give a shit either. Preferably I'd like to have NO romance. But since Toby insists on forcing his gay fetish I like to point out how incredibly retarded and forced it feels. Especially when he already set up, likely accidentally, a more sensible relationship. A couple of them actually.

I cared more about the mystery if anything but Toby is already fucking that up with Chapter 5 so my enthusiasm for Deltarune is at an all time low.

I don't think Toby forgot to put the FRIEND chat with Pink in, I think what happened is that he saw everyone turn Gaster and the Goner Crew into One Piece and realized how starved for information everyone is.

I personally believe that dialogue was meant to be in Chapter 6. But he decided to put it in early because Chapter 5 really revealed nothing.
