Chris is a bit of an impulsive sperg just going by OneyPlays, but I don't buy that he's actively malicious here. It's also true that a lot of the stuff DD chose to play was niche.

There's been a lot of times where he says shit without thinking. Sometimes he goes too far with the jabs, and you can hear that he realizes it, but most of the other guys knows he knows he messes up and handle it well.

I watched a brief segment of his show once and was shocked this was the guy people worshiped. He has the whiniest voice I've ever heard and looks more like a pooner than most actual pooners. 1;That's how making money on yt works, Ding Dang. Funhaus back in the day was the same way. All ha ha hee hee on camera then the second it went off it was fucking work time.
2;Illbleed, Blue Stinger, Revolution 60, Jumping Flash etc. There was a lot of weird niche shit DD played for the channel to be honest but I never felt like Chris was checked out on any of those Lps. Maybe Blue Stinger but still. Since the channel was about making money for Chris, I'd also worry about picking stuff way too niche to appeal to people.
3; To be proven. Truthfully I think that YiiK finale is the biggest bag fumble in Oneyplays history but we just don't know the full details of the situation. Considering though DD and Julian have had video games in development for years and years though, I'm willing to bet Chris wasn't the one dragging his feet. Not to mention all the mellodramatic "Oneyplays ruined my life" shit coming from them too.

During the DD/J stream on 23/07/2026 at https://live.dingdongvg.net/ I noticed there was a bit of buzz in the chat regarding a certain user called SuperScratchKat. A couple other users in there were alleged he was "that animator who was a sexpest". Wermera immediately sprung to acion and banned 3 users who posted info regarding this and deleted their posts and told Julian who was hosting the stream he would message him about it and that DD was now aware.
Many in the chat were immediately sympathetic to Scratchkat and asking him if we was ok at which point he posted stating he had...

i think the issue was to chris it was obviously some side thing where he could be one person among many in a convo playing video games to get shit out quickly and profitably and cash in on his brand. whereas julian and dingdong saw it more as this big opportunity that it was for them.

High tier: Niall (my Irish bias, but with Zach it's basically SleepyCast 2.0), Cory
Good regulars: Tomar, Lyle, Adam (his retardation is endearing and occasionally he comes out with zingers)
Guests they desperately need back: Michael Cusack, Paddy

I think the best part about that era was that Chris was the big fish in a small pond and he was at his edgiest when he was around the two of them. I don't hold any of the newgrounders accountable for their association for Shadman because he was just a fixture on the internet during a time where edgy content was the norm and he was pretty much making collabs with everyone and they drew the line with the CP and quickly distanced themselves from him after that got out (though Mick did bail him out for jail for some odd reason) DD and Julian also hung out with the guy and didn't publicly disavowed him even when a bunch of drama vultures tried to leech off the Kris Tyson/Mr.Beast shit. Never liked Shad on SleepyCabin and his art was always shit so good riddance.

Most of the stream has been him seething at internet trolls, but he is clearly trying to start shit and using the actions of (who I assume are) Soyjak party users. Idk what this story is with someone with a gun trying to drive to his house, but I don't know how that relates to Chris not being enthusiastic about their Pokemon let's play and being a lazy animator. The whole 9 hours could be summarized as this:
