Having completed the entire 9 hours of this, I am utterly baffled. This is just sad. They're really in a total deathspiral. The insanely paranoid insistence that so many people just want them to "hurt" is unhinged. The constant claims of other people keeping them in the past (while they can't just simply not react to retards online and move on) is absurd. Just like his previous longform meltdowns DD weaves a tale of a bleak future for no reason and inflicts torment on himself pointlessly.
In case you read this too DD, I have to express my general frustration at some of the (usually verbatim) sentiments expressed, as somebody from the outside who wasn't even there for the classic OneyPlays era:

WHY? Why give trolls that power over you? Why can't you see that you don't have to respond, you don't HAVE to react! Even if people kept dredging up the past YOU DON'T HAVE TO ENGAGE WITH IT! How are they preventing you from progressing on "your own thing" by saying shit about you online? You could just not stream. You could just ignore chat! You could unplug from social media for a bit! Without DD responding to even the most mild of prodding, there would be nothing for people to feed off of!

That all the people who seem to sincerely (though you reject that claim) believe you're becoming increasingly irrational and just want you to shut up?

I have seen a VAST majority of people expressing sadness that you guys are seemingly in a bad place mentally, and loving the old content. Some people will always miss the old days. You don't have to engage with them. You don't owe them anything. People appreciate you coming back to finish some things, and everyone knows it was a labor of love. But you reject that, you ignore that most actually do want the best for you guys, that most people have moved on, and you hyper focus on the minority of vocal people who can't let go. Because YOU can't let go, you have to engage with it, you have to correct the record, you have to indulge in this OBVIOUSLY unhealthy victim complex. Despair really is a vice. I know things have been hard for you guys, I know it's tough, but if you insist that nothing will ever get better... it won't! You can't just romanticize all of this "hurt" and "harm" as if these events scar your immortal soul and then claim that it's other people (that you should be ignoring) who aren't moving on! There is nobody who has let OneyPlays define you guys more than yourselves. You need to pivot away from the mental model of believing that mass perception is what defines who and what people are. You need to stop feeling the need to object to or correct anyone who perceives you in a way that doesn't align with how you perceive yourselves. I don't think you guys can do that for yourselves at this point, I think you're in too fucking deep. I know money is tight, but seriously. As somebody who took the time to listen and isn't poisoned by any of the drama (or wasn't until today), get help.

If anyone wants more info on this but doesn't want to go through his hellstream, he later explains that Chris wanted DD to make a fake game for a finale. He wanted to stage a fake argument with DD&J and the two of them would start playing this fake game. He says that he coded some basic stuff but Chris kept demanding more so they could put it on steam, but eventually just scrapped the whole idea. He then said he gave the source code to Chris and then he started building Bowlbo off it. I think this gives some validity to the people who speculate that the Bowlbo demo getting good reception was a factor in all of this, knowing that he could've got some of that recognition and finally getting that gamedev cred he desperately wants.
It's still pretty insane that he stated that comparing Bowlbo to their games would be like saying he wants to compete with his own game. In a recent interview with a guy who's working with Chris on the game, he said that they've refactored the code multiple times. They did it once so the game runs in a 3D engine instead of being all pre-rendered, and another time to implement a custom developed physics engine, so it's fair to assume that DD's source code has been scrapped completely. Who know though, maybe there's some remnants of his code still in the game. That raises the question, would Chris be down for crediting DD after this kerfuffle even if his involvement at this point is so negligible? I'm expecting DD to try to datamine the game when it releases to look for his code and throw a shitfit for not being credited, so be on the lookout for that in the future.

Overall he's trying to say this is old stuff while acknowledging this is the first time people (at least widely) heard him call out Chris specifically. He's talking like there is a conspiracy to get him which I kinda get, a year ago when Dominoid was coming out there were /v/ threads where people were getting a bit a-loggy and had specific lines about the patreon and whatnot that they would repeat over and over again. Really seemed like they have a group of discord retards stalking them.
Ding dong did say people would call him "whiney" specifically in response to all this. Would be strange if a casual observer with deep lore just so happened to drop by and use that exact word.
