See this is why I think fiscal conservatism has become sort of a cognitohazard Pavlov conditioned into most Americans. That money going into the multibillion Israel-American (unified force by the way) army? That could have gone to subsidies for businesses, grants for job training and creation, infrastructure, protection of citizens benefits or basically anything that would help the entire country. But because that some of that money may go to some of them and your convinced that you must punish them enough so the magical pot of gold market wealth will trickle down any second now your fine with that money being vacuumed up by literal actual foreigners.
