Probably late at posting this, but it is so absurd dingdong (AKA skeeter and hoopwise) was apart of the meanest group of game reviewers and cries about any slight to him. Sucks people grow apart, but part of me thinks this is because bowlbo is coming out and we are still 10 years in to development of whatever game dingdong and julian are making.

Maybe the Wan Wan backers can get another new sprite swap of an old cartoon network flash game, that should keep the paypigs happy.


Good for Chris for deleting all his old messages, can't go back and use that as ammo ya neurotic nerd.

I started watching Oneyplays back 9 years ago when Simpsons Hit and Run on Game Grumps was uploaded. Easily the best game grumps episode after Jontron left.

If I remember right, Ding Dong was upset about the game grumps fan base bashing on the playthrough. It literally is the 2nd most viewed video on game grumps outside of a few animated clips. And Ding Dong was upset with the like/dislike ratio.

Also love the decision to go on a 24+ hour long tirade instead of just saying nothing.

Back in thebestgamers days, hoopwise/skeeter/dingdong got needled for being gay and in response he aired out every reviewers nerdy hobbies to the audience to get back at them, I wish it was archived but dingdong DFE's a lot.

Edit: he also told the audience 2 reviewers played second life, which means he obviously had a history on their too. This is all hearsay now, most of thebestgamers stuff was lost to time.

I think Chris still has the old internet way of thinking where as long as you're not a chomo or completely deplorable he won't be afraid to associate with you. He used to be on the same panel with Emily Youcis. Chris is/was a huge gooner that would visit porn subreddits so much all of his google search links were purple so I don't think anyone would take him soapboxing to the tranny seriously.
 
I thought Dingdong had a confirmed image out there? Some Oneyplays fan took a photo of Julian ordering froyo with some pale greasy looking guy with long black hair and said he was almost certainly DD after hearing him order.

Unironically there was a discussion in Sleepycabin about this, and the NGs crew agreed it was because "they don't have a real outlet for their negative thoughts." I think there's some truth to this.
They refused to name names, but apparently every "family friendly" animator they knew was an actual freak in private.

The only time Chris has ever addressed any sort of internet drama was when Stamper was sperging on twitter for the hundredth time and dragging him into it. So 50/50 if he says anything public about this.

Doug Walker has an impeccable ability called "being able to take a joke." Many internet personalities lack this and it is often their downfall.

This stuff fascinates me in the same way people enjoy rubber necking at accidents.

Either through watching it happen in real time or hearing it after the fact.
There's countless tales of projects that fall apart and in great detail, whether they fail after release or fail to even LAUNCH.
There are hundreds of examples to choose from covering almost every scenario of failure that could ever arise.

How the fuck do so many people keep falling into the same stupid pitfalls over and over?

Obsessively polish passing what amounts to your first level or base art is one of the biggest and most obvious signs of a dead in the water project,
Indie game hosting sites are more like graveyards filled with busy idiots re-making their tutorial and refactoring their code ad nauseam.
All because "Perfectionists" never actually make or ship anything. They're too busy being busy by making nothing.

It's so persistent and common that I'm second hand frustrated that it's not a regularly taught rule to aspiring creatives and developers like a major commandment.

"Thou shalt not go back and redo anything that functions until the goddamn thing is finished"

That's why it's called the polish pass
