I'm reminded of this question.
The main plot towards the end was about how Ceroba was happily married to her husband and had a daughter, then she lost both of them which drove her to do really extreme shit for the sake of making it up to both of them. UT Yellow also put focus on Alphys' neglectful behavior as Royal Scientist during the whole amalgamate incident. Since this is a prequel, none of it was resolved and Alphys was essentially presented as a bad guy.
UT Yellow about a straight woman doing something for the love of her husband, and called attention to the problematic behavior of a gay woman.
Unlike regular Undertale, which had Alphys and Undyne, or the Royal Guard duo, as far as I'm aware, there wasn't a single gay couple in all of UT Yellow.

That's genuinely surprising considering I'm pretty damn sure multiple trans and they/them retards were involved in its development.
So either
A. They lucked out so hard and somehow managed to avoid cramming any gender/tranny bullshit into the game
Or
B. They had an actually competent wrangler.

Extending this from the perspective of Kris coping with his parents' divorce:
> Toriel in a depression, spending all her time in her room, brooding on the ruins of her marriage, Kris could literally have heard "our marriage is ruined"
> The window behind the microwave is BS: New Home is Asgore sleeping on the couch, and the front door is the Barrier
> Alternatively, following the left-to-right framing, Flower King is New Home and the lake is the Barrier
> The Barrier requiring a human and monster soul to break = Kris and Asriel wondering "is it our fault"?
> Alternatvely, this could be foreshadowing of Kris and Noelle in the Weird Route
> Asgore could have described his flowers as "kind of like children to me" to Kris at some point
Some more supporting evidence:
> Undertale has the same menu as Deltarune's Light world
> Asriel's final boss form from Undertale is on Asriel's PC in Deltarune

Did everyone forget the mention of "Police sacrifice next week" or whatever during the scene in the Holiday House in chapter 4?
Again not exactly many ways that word can be interpreted and the people being kidnapped so far seems to coincide with the symbols on the bunker door or wherever those symbols were, the Deltarune symbol the police badge and the christmas tree.
Literally the only way I could interpret what we heard was whoever was on the other line was telling Kris "Hey you little retard. We were supposed to kidnap your mom first, not the faggot police chief! That shit was next week!" so unless Kris is doing some double-double agent shit here I don't know what the fuck he could be up to here besides annoying his boss.
Then they just took his fucking dad instead I guess.

Fuck it, try to make Susie and Berdly a pairing and it still will be more interesting than Suselle.As much as I'm not entirely into the weird posting of ship art. I will say I will never not find it hilarious that Toby somehow wrote a ship that is so terrible literally EVERY OTHER OPTION IS BETTER. Fuck, even Noelle being with Berdly is more believable than Suselle.
It just astounds me how Noelle has believable chemistry with almost everyone BUT Susie.Like how the fuck does he do it?!

Have we considered that perhaps Dess is the Roaring Knight, and perhaps the Roaring Knight's goal is to simply continue raping Kris?
It makes you think. Perhaps Noelle wants Dess back simply for tips on the most optimal raping procedures? You never know.

If these schizo insane theories actually somehow end up being true I will kneel. Personally though I think it's just pure copium and the story is going to be a lot more simplistic than we think it is.

Reminder that originally they were meant to be regular friends before they were retconned to be gay. Kinda like Alphys, heh. Who's bi and most fans seemingly forgot that fact.
That would explain it. Surprised that a fangame does have straight relationships, even though the game pretends Clover is a They/them/wakkawakka thing.
Assgore has no respect from the troons. They'll kill him if able to even if it would be OOC for Kris and co.
That makes me wonder what Berdly eats. Would it be considered racist to talk about stuff like birdseed?
If this happened, Toby would be invalidating a heckin' gay ship and that means risking his life. Same as confirming that Kris is a guy.
