I refuse to watch the new King of the Hill "seasons". The show ended in 2010. It is gone. The people who made it are gone. Whatever mentality and passion behind the show is gone. A lizard could be good for Null, less work than fish but having to keep a supply of live meal worms or crickets can be a bit annoying. Also I guess it depends on how much space he wants to set aside for this since a proper sized tank for bearded dragon can be pretty big.
