It's quite baffling, on a recent stream Ding Dong claimed that in retrospect he never fit in with The Best Gamers, OneyPlays and SuperMega. While I can believe one out of three, claiming all of these three when it was obvious they got along at some point just feels like historical revisionism.

After seeing some of his longer streams I highly doubt DingDong is a drug user. I think it is 100% him having a manic episode. If you ever dealt with someone having an episode, without drugs those folks can be up for days with the same intensity as a methbinge enjoyer.
