I really think Alex is an example of someone smart who got punched in the head too many times so he acts like a raging chimp from time to time. The "it's just a persona" thing was a court defense but idk I think the dude was really being himself most of the time because of the consistency and escalation - maybe the shilling cheap boner medicines from China and gold were parts of the act, but Alex was coming off as crazy before Infowars was even a thing. Being crazy doesn't exactly mean you're wrong though.

Olbermann and Beck are in a class of their own but I think at least Beck knows that it's time to lay low and go away sometimes, whereas Olbermann is genuinely lolcow tier and will keep airing his retarded views while screeching about people attacking him by calling them stupid until the day he dies.

As i've gotten older, i'm coming to understand the theroy of history just being one big cycle. The players change, the game itself doesn't. Sure a few moves may be different, but in general, what has happened before will happen again in some form. Once an idea is introduced into the world like Communism, it never goes away. It may hide for a time, but it always comes back. Its up to the younger generation to stop it where the older generations fucked it up. This has happened time after time.

It could also be that I'm making the point that of all the sports commentators, Stephen Smith is particularly annoying and deserving of mockery and it is the sad state of our societal discourse that he has followed the path of Keith Olbermann and is now looked upon as someone who gives serious political discussion.

of course they vote off of their states' popular votes, but they don't have to and are the only votes that count for president.

I also wonder about senators, representatives, mayors, DAs, etc that were voted in through fraud.
