If you call some random baskeball person "nigger," it has been deemed appropriate for them to kill you and your whole family in a driveby. If you call some queen "faggot," it has been deemed appropriate for them to shoot up a nightclub or a school, inflicting dozens or even hundreds of casualties.

like anything lower than 98% uptime is really disasterous. if the site is unreliable people will just stop using it over time. it won't grow, it will shrink. if we shrink we can't combat the problems we have. we can barely combat them with what we have.

I respect the work & dedication you've put in, but I disagree. 40% uptime is a disaster, but 98% seems doable, at least until they get tired of burning money. We must've been down ~25 days in the last 5 years, yet the site's grown yugely.

I am not saying we have to. The Trevor Project is a suicide prevention program so it is not like the money would be doing any harm and it could help the site.
