Might seem weird, but even in China the software used is dominated by the US. They have their own software, but in my experience the bulk of the stuff doing the heavy lifting is US created and/or managed. Try thinking of a programming language or OS that wasn't developed by Europe or the US. And if it was first developed by Europe, it's probably since been transferred over to the US due to how strangling Europe is to anything successful.

I was in a meeting once with a chinese software sales team and our project's boss straight up said "Why should I have to pay for your shit when I can just get a pirated version, or when I bribe someone to grab your source code, it's not like IP court is going to enforce your copyright anyway".
