But there’s not one single person we can charge with a crime? Not even Clinton? As I already said, some of the redactions are to prevent people from doing Control-F, seaching Lurker, and then going "HOLY SHIT, LURKER IS IN THE EPSTEIN FILES!" There are names of people in there who came up but were not involved in anything illegal, or were victims. You keep their names out so they aren't forced to defend themselves from spurious claims made by muckrakers. I'm not saying that's the reason for all the redactions, but it's definitely a reason that rarely gets mentioned by critics of Trump.
At this point the victims are identifying themselves. Who are we protecting?
You don’t make up for threats with less security. Like come on, you have to see that’s an insane excuse.I'm more convinced by the MAD argument. Trump didn't move Maxwell personally: the DoJ moved her from a "low" security prison to a "minimum" security prison because she was getting threats. I do agree that Maxwell got treated way too well considering the nature of her crimes
No one has given me any reason yet why we cannot make any progress on this and why the DOJ has closed the book on it. Not even @Dr J who was incensed the Democrats didn’t do it but don’t seem so upset now.
