I suspect SiriusXM relies on a lot of legacy contracts. When I get rental cars for work, they all came with subscriptions to SiriusXM. New cars that we got recently came with “free” trials where they want your credit card information first. Then they make it such a pain in the ass to unsubscribe. A lot of the old hosts are just gone now so I imagine they get by on a shoestring budget. Once they ditch Stern, SXM can probably sustain themselves for the foreseeable future.

When I canceled, it took me over three hours. I just put my phone on speaker and stayed on the line until they finally got to me. I can’t imagine they were that backed up but I wasn’t going to give up. At the time there was no other way to unsubscribe.

Dominic Barbara represented rapists, pedophiles, family killers, and all sorts of the lowest scum of society. He was one of the biggest ambulance chasing piece of shit lawyers in all of New York. Perfectly fit in with the Stern crew. After his arrest for stalking his ex-wife he was literally sleeping on park benches and using street drugs and begging for money. This is a guy who used to ride around Manhattan in a Maybach limo and spend thousands every night at Stern's Scores parties on "dances" and brag about how 'made' his life was and how he was in high society.
His ex-wive took all of his money and told the courts "DB doesn't mean Dominic Barbara it means Drugs and Booze". Dominic got a new girlfriend and told her he was a millionaire despite being broke and evicted. He was arrested for stealing a designer handbag from some store to gift to her to impress her. He also was rumored to be a massive pill addict to the point of being homeless for an extended period. His son eventually had him placed in an assisted living facility and now pays for his upkeep.
Dominic also torched one of his boats for insurance money while he was on the actual boat and made a distress mayday call which was made public. He also admitted to one of the NY gossip rags that he had tried to kill himself twice but failed (third time's the charm). After his disbarment but before his drug addiction he was paying the gossip rags to rehabilitate his image with a new article every month.

She definitely was white trash. However, I don't really have sympathy for Ant with this subject. It was his own stupid, short-sighted behavior that caused him all the headaches with his divorce.
He will also never admit that if the situation was reversed and it was her who had the money along with the big job, he would have likely done the same thing.
Dominic Barbara is a more successful version of Nick Rekieta. He is what would have happened if Nick was actually successful as a lawyer and managed to parlay his success into mainstream media ventures.
Didn't Stern say a few years ago he was going to retire? Why is he even bothering at this point? His show is completely watered down and nobody seriously respects him anymore. He isn't even receiving that much attention anymore.

Of the many embarrassing traits Cumia has, the worst is his far outdated cultural (movie/tv) references. I remember a time when Ronnie B was doing a Daniel Plainview from There Will Be Blood impression directly to Ant and it went right over Anthonys head.
Ron’s impression was basically throwing it in Ant’s face that he is Daniel Plainview. A guy who hates everyone and wanted to make enough money to get away from society. That was Ant in a nutshell. The fact Ant never adopted some Daniel Plainview impression always surprised me. It was a perfect fit for Ant’s bag of impressions.

I think Stern just needs to get those ass pats from the few remaining sycophants as well as pretending he’s still relevant. Stern is much wealthier than Anthony but he might be even more irrelevant.
