Um, freedom of speech doesn't mean freedom of consequences sweatyWell yes of course. Because er. Yes. I mean... what?
Most of these troons were obsessed with Harry Potter well past the age they should have been, so they feel personally attacked by Rowling’s betrayal. They don’t have that personal connection with John Clease so they don’t careNot very surprising since he has supported Rowling before but John Cleese of Monty Python has been posting to denounce Amnesty International:

He also shared the Women's Fund:

There is surprisingly little Cleese Derangement happening. I'm unsure if troons and their supporters are avoiding him due to being a man or if they're just afraid to start beef with a an extremely talented comedian.
Unrelated, I finally bought the first Comoran Strike book and plan on reading it when I'm done with current book club stuff.
Some dude named Daniel Lismore (a sculptor? Activist? idk who and what the fuck he is) has joined the crowd yelling that Rowling is posting "revenge porn" of Fred Wallace, although Lismore claims it's an up-skirting photo. The comments are a mix of sanity and full blown RDSOne day Fredo will learn not to bait people considerably smarter than he is, but the lesson is not learned yet. Remember as you read his exchange that he has blocked her so she can't answer him directly.
Quite a successful chap apparently:Some dude named Daniel Lismore (a sculptor? You might have noticed Beira's Place missing from the legal letters flying on Monday; there was just a tweet from them. Well here we go:

This whole thing is going to be both a momentous milestone in Operation Let Them Speak and a lesson for all remaining trans allies in the most infected sectors: if you keep letting the trans movement strap itself to you, you will sink with it inevitably. No more shirking the consequences of joining a lynch mob.
This bit is particularly lethal. She (or her lawyer) is absolutely thinking strategically nowadays.

I knew someone who went to SCAD. Went in vaguely centre right, came out a hateful, left-wing extremist who was one step away from pooning last time I saw her online. I do wonder if a lot of it was just anger at realising that her plan to graduate straight into a creator-producer role at cartoon network was doomed to failure. Naive lass. Bit thick, but could draw well enough. It's funny how someone can be artistically very original and politically a total NPC. Many such cases:
Forstater and others were forced to endure years of humiliations and litigation and payback time seems to be approaching fast.
A more recent photo. So stunning, so braveYeah "Natacha" (Mark Hellen) was exposed as circulating black lists of women in academic circles some years back.
Any excuse to laugh at this again.

Let's be real here - it's because Cleese is a man and Rowling is a woman.
If they were afraid of someone who was willing to fight they would've given up goading JK and her very large pile of "Fuck You" money by now. She angers them because she's a woman thus everything they aren't.
Unreal that the Chair of Amnesty at that time was a Pajeet Senthorun Raj, who was then followed by another Pajeet Sasha Deshmukh. I had no idea, but it explains a lot. When they're not out gangraping in their subcontinent, I guess they're getting their jollies from bullying women in whatever place they infect.Maya Forstater has gone full Boudica with a thread of receipts from Amnesty which frankly belongs in the British Museum.
Oh, how the tables have turned. It must hurt that they are no longer able to easily bully women into silence for stating facts without facing consequences. You might have noticed Beira's Place missing from the legal letters flying on Monday; there was just a tweet from them. Well here we go:

Cleese is well-liked by the establishment, but he has a history of voicing opinions that aren't always the most popular and/or are controversial (e.g. supporting Brexit, stating that London is no longer an English city). He's also 86 years old. In essence, trannies and their orbiters may dislike him because he's a transphobe, but his transphobia does not elicit that strong of a reaction from them. It's not unexpected that a man in his 80s who has criticized cancel culture and wokeness would also be critical of the trans agenda. That’s likely too.
But they were not afraid of taking on Linehan.
(...)
Cleese on the other hand is a lot better liked and hero worshiped by the establishment and British upper crust and could be better placed to cause Troons some actual problems.
Linehan and Rowling, on the other hand, did not have a history of "bigot" remarks before they started openly questioning the trans agenda. Both of them were and are still mostly left-leaning, as well as celebrities (a group of people particularly prone to going with the flow). Yet, instead of siding with trannies as many TRAs would expect or just keeping quiet, they came out as transphobes. No wonder TRAs felt betrayed.
I don't agree with that, troons are mostly terminally online retards, not some savvy people with connections to high society except for a very few. That’s a factor, and probably a clearer reason.
However, and I am not saying Cleese is a nonce, we have seen how far the establishment in the UK will protect “beloved” individuals such as Jimmy Savile.
Telling a few key troon rabble rousers to lay off Cleese is easier to achieve than covering up decades of kiddy fiddling and corpse rape.
