You do realize that the eastern video game market is completely different to the western one. Asia does not have the same negative connotations associated with gambling that the west does. In fact it is in the middle of a gambling epidemic which these companies are taking full advantage of. If the average asian game got released in the west it would be ripped to shreds for its predatory monetization. The Chinese gaming population is so huge (due to the low cost of components) that companies can wholesale their games at half price there which is what happened for games like Expedition 33 and Kingdom Come Deliverance. Despite what grifters on the internet claimed about what "real gamers want" neither of those games sold particular well in the west and resonated far more with eastern gamers.
